Probably my favorite individual gameplay moment of the entire series. Something awesome about making a badass stand alongside your former enemies the Vortigaunts who are just tearing shit up.

Surprisingly in HLA it’s fully Russian. I actually have 2 versions. One is that they simply chose Russian over Bulgarian because it’s an international language. Or here is a theory: since HL2 is obviously in a universe where everything is other, I think USSR existed even in 7 Hour War times, and there Russian was obviously main language.
Hey Gab you can use gravity gun's primary fire without first grabbing things! That's how you were "supposed" to move the heavy thing in the mines. You can use it in place of the crowbar in most cases for planks and such. Anyway, had a lot of fun seeing you experience this game for the first time. It's so good!
They've got loads of scientists but not one says "Hey, you know how we're being invaded by zombie headcrabs from another dimension? Well I have a new invention that could save us all, it's called.....a hat."
Im honestly surprised no one thought to design a hat with spikes on it. They could have also put a sort of tazer function into the spikes so the headcrab gets a shock too
or a helmet. how tf did all the security gaurds at black mesa get zombified by headcrabs when they wear those helmets? even if the headcrabs beaks are strong enough to penetrate them which would require an extreme amount of strength that its doubtful headcrabs have, their legs wouldnt be able to close neatly over the skull of the victim and develop a secure grip
@@SaintRonnie360 I don't know why they call them headCRABS any way, they're much more like oven ready chickens, I think you just die from embarressment after wandering round with a frozen chicken stuck on your head after a while.
Yall should watch some vids about how headrabs works.. Their legs are for our bones in the neck, and all the teeths they have and the acid, just corrossive acid breaks any metal or bone structure to get to the brain
the thing is you see Combine soldiers (who are wearing armored mask helmet thingies) and HECU soldiers (who are wearing straight up army helmets) that are zombified so idunno!

Compared to ways folks die in Half-Life, or in the case of headcrab zombies don't, that's peaceful in comparison. There's agency to it at least. I think that's the point of that little bit.
