I'm a broke dude but I like to pamper myself every once in a while and while I was here in my thoughts after a j, I thought to myself "I should do a random spa day for me and my girl. She deserves it." But then I thought, "How though? I can't afford it. I would have to save money and she deserves it now, not later or next month." And so I thought and the lightbulb went off, "I know! I can do everything diy! I can probably make a sugar scrub (seems simple enough) and give each other facials with it." And so I came here. To this video. Thank you. I got everything I need and then some. All I gotta do is pick up some wild flowers by our place and her favorite wine and she's set. It's gonna be better than s professional spa place! Lol
I had no idea what to get my girl gang for Christmas but they like spa themed things like that and they got me an early Christmas gift it was so thoughtful and I was think about sugar scrubs but they seemed hard to make this was perfect and thank for the gift

Don’t use food coloring. Use mica powder or another colorant additive
To sent it can I just put vanilla in it - the same as you would put in a cake or does it have to be essential oils if you want a sent

My body does not cocanut oil so I switched it out for grape seed oil still works

Yes you can! I would incorporate in small amounts until you get the color desired.

I used coconut oil instead of the 'hard' form of coconut. I used 3 ingredients -- essential peppermint oil (just 1-2 drops because this sh*t is STRONG and will burn if you get it into your eyes), sugar, coconut oil. Turned out amazing! I definitely needed this. I used it on my face. I need to do a larger batch for all over.💖

I would like to give them the choice of color and fragrances. if you were hosting could you tell me how you would plan it and how long it would take for everyone to make the scrub. My goal would be to use your recipe and put everything in a favor bag for the guests and then it would be one of the events we do at the shower. What do you think?

Yess, sugar is very little abrasive as compared to walnut or any other scrub so it’s best for exfoliating sensitive skin.

Press into the jar and get a wedge out, rub it in between your warm damp hands and scrub into your skin...It will melt.

Making a big batch of this tommorow. I recently lost over 65lbs on Dirty/Lazy Keto with Intermittent Fasting & massive water consumption... I now have very slight loose skin. I'm working out to town up but an exfoliant is needed when you loose weight to remove the dark areas of the skin . I can't wait.... Gonna buy essential only the are safe to use on the skin. I have sensitive skin , I really have to do a patch test. My question is can you add coffee granules to this mix? The reason I asking is because I know that coffee + Olive Oil= A Cellulite free body.

Fragrance oils can be used...make sure they don't have any phthalates which can be harmful.

I use it on my face. It all depends on your skin type. I make mine with organic brown sugar, ground coffee, Sunflower Seed oil, fresh lemon juice & raw honey I’ve been using it on my face for a year and I have no problems and my skin is great!😊
