- We go "old school" for this review and drive a 2018 model year Mazda 6 Station Wagon - it's family friendly (but not a SUV!) and definitely more fun to drive!

G'day a fair and honest review. I have the 2017 Atenza 2.5 ltr engine and I did a lot of homework before we decided on it. It is a truly beautiful car to drive and the quality built into is only to be expected with a fully imported Japanese car. We have had two Honda Accord Euros in the past and looked to the Mazda 6 due to Honda not making a Wagon. We have just driven back from Adelaide to Hobart and it achieved 6.6 litres for ever 100 kilometres at 110 kilometres and using BP Ultimate. I would recommend this vehicle highly and the machine grey looks beautiful or be it a dust grabber. Thank you John Kinnane Kingston Tasmania. PS have subscribed

Why didn't you get the diesel? Sounds like it has a lot more punch to it!
@@MiguelGouveiaFreitas Mazda diesels are poor, it was a good choice.
Love this car, just can't figure out why Mazda chose to put the start/stop button high on the dash near the infotainment screen. The natural place would be on that soft trim bit above climate controls. Other than that, awesome job Mazda!
Please bring this wagon to the US.

Big deal, its probably like 10mm shorter due to a different bumper design or something.
At least you get this beautiful wagon. Us Yanks are stuck with stupid hideous crossovers ....if this car were available in the US, especially with a manual trans, I would be all over it.
Nice but I'm about to trade the Forester in for a Levorg. Hard to beat that power. Great review lads.

Yep, you're right Kyle, I work for Mazda USA and there are no Mazda 6 wagons in North America. That might change in the future though seeing as station wagons are slowly making their return in the US.

My bad. I thought it was. The mazda 6 2018 and wagon in Europe have a different grill. Thanks
