This one is a little more ambient. Recorded from the speaker straight into the field recorder (gives some more bass and bit of character from the air/room). Then I processed it a little in Koala Sampler (the TempoDelay ping-pong effect and a little off the top with the lowpass filter). The main thing on this one is that it exploits a minor glitch in the decay setting to hit a sustained note within the pattern (the rest have the Arp's typical plucked envelope structure). It gives an interesting contrast. Will cover details about the method in an upcoming full video. #kastlearp #kastledrum #koalasampler #undulations
It's definitely been growing on me🤔. My plan is to do a more-or-less basic tutorial video first, and then I'll talk about some of the more unusual edge usages that I think liven it up quite a bit😀. Thanks for checking out the clip🙏🏼!
Well, tbh I don't know anything about music with a Gameboy. Is there a sync in (or maybe a mic in) on a GB? Is the GB out stereo (so you can have a sync signal on one channel and the audio on another)? Let me know and I might have some ideas🤔. Also, this seems like something I might see on Instagram. Somebody may have posted a clip about how to do it, idk?
@@undulations nanoloop 2.01 can send a clock signal. The pocket operator uses CV in/out...I think. I can send you to a website that can better explain it.
@@bffshmangles3047 Sure, send it and I'll check it out. Basically just need to figure who's sync out and who's sync in, what the jacks/sockets are, and make sure that the voltages are safe between the two gadgets syncing.

Added bass and LPF working really nicely on this one -- lovely sound
I like that lots.
Thanks very much for
checking it out🙏🏼!
Cool! Do you like ARP?

@@undulations Brilliant! Looking forward to the tutorial! 🙂
Hi mister!
I'm trying to sync my Gameboy to a pocket operator or volca. I was wondering if you could show me how to make the cable to do so...
