This is the perfect bass riff for a newer bassist to learn. Basically all root note verse and chorus followed by a rad bass riff in the post-chorus / pre-verse part.
Only a true artist could make the complicated simple. This is complex bass Matt is riffing on, plus the improv. It took me years to learn bass and I am still learning.

I still remember rolling up to Tower Records at Stonestown in my 64 Chevy to buy this CD when it first came out. That was a really good record, so glad I got to catch one show.
