This was quite a fan episode in spite of some misplays. I love when playable strategies are introduced in this series. It was funny how both of decks for MBT were old decks that eventually after a long wait became meta.
Cimo and MBT are now in the era, where YGO101 videos were popular, might be interesting to adapt some of those decks for Jank Alternatively Rank10ygo’s “Legacy of the Worthless” tournament is also from that era, which also made for some great Jank
Ik this may sound strange, but could we see a S2 of History where we take those decks that were good and see how they can be improved. Like even just goat era through 2012 would be good to see what the most optimized versions of decks

Historically goat control was the most common deck in goat format and was considered the best deck, now goat players consider it a tier 2 deck at best. Also solemn judgment was considered a bad gard, turns out it would have been broken even in 2005. Even HAT format was played suboptimally

now this is gaming. lunalights never disappoint. this was one of my first decks i made when getting into yugioh for real. i was even able to play again during tear format going full go second i fusion summon you to death. not the best tear variant but the most fun one

I love Lunalights so much. They're my favorite archetype, and got me to Diamond in Master Duel during Tri-Brigade format. It was especially great to summon her when they opponent had DPE because you'd summon her, they'd activate DPE, you'd wait like 3 seconds, and then they'd surrender.

I always love Bujiins It's a great deck I defeated summon on their stream a long time ago playing Bujiins while they were playing Shuships and defeat them by Normal Summon Niburu on my last turn to win and was asking them what's their favorite Zookeeper of the deck was didn't see my comment though mine would have to be either Susanwoo or Yamato the og Zookeeper
Yep I actually topped locals like 3 times playing a very similar list I wasn't playing the blue quilin and I think I was playing 1 fire fist bear and Gorilla loved this deck because almost every card was holo

He would have had then the next turn to activate Susanow again and add either another Crane to out any other fusion Mbt could do or Yamato to get more advantage and put Mbt to 1200 LP meaning he would have been unable to attack Cimoo in order to not lose to Crane in damage step.
how did you line this up with the Bujin solo mode coming out in MD? It literally came out yesterday. The final duel in that solo mode even has you playing against a lunalight deck.
I hope they revisit Lunalight with the later support, it becomes even easier to make rank 4 XYZ and the fusions are also easier to make with Kaleido Chick.
Probably to make them more balanced and able to be taken out through means other than Kaijus or negating their effects, since they are immune to destruction effects already. Keep in mind that at the time, Towers and Venominaga were the most invulnerable supervises in the game and the former could still theoretically be run over by battle--complete immunity to all forms of destruction (ex. Borrelend, Shangri-Ira) wasn't as common back then. Konami probably didn't want to make them utter walls.
