    Wow, this game is so fun and it really shows how VR is simply superior at certain types of games. I don't think any flat wing suite game could ever beat this experience. I just finished a 2.5 hour session and I only quite because I need to get some sleep. WOW!

    I’m glad I waited to get this for PSVR. It’s been available for the Go since launch, but PSVR seems like the best way to play this.

      I was just talking about this. Never played the one on phone. Is the Go the stand-alone unit they have? I have the one you insert your phone into and picked this up on sale for like 2 to 5 dollars. I bet you're right about PSVR being the way to go here if nothing else the control options are better for sure. I only have the little one handed controller it comes with. It's probably a little smaller than the little Switch controllers that attach to the unit. It's pretty good for what it is. Functions as a pointer with a little touch pad and buttons.

    • @MegaRayland
      @MegaRayland 5 лет назад +3

      Yes, the Oculus Go is the same as what you have with your phone but in a standalone unit rather than requiring the headset and a compatible phone.

      Jon Hunthrop No the Go is very different and much more powerful than mobile VR. Think of the Go as the PSP of VR. It’s not going to have powerful games like Skyrim, Moss, Farpoint, ect.... but it will be able to play a bunch of great smaller games. Games like Rush, UltraWings, Along Together, and many many more. The Go is absolutely worth the investment because of just how many solid indie games are on it.

    • @jonhunthrop1882
      @jonhunthrop1882 5 лет назад

      @@jaymeow4273 Yeah that's pretty much what I was thinking. I have the Gear VR and it is actually quite powerful and plays all of those games as it is powered by my Galaxy S8 plus. I just didn't have it in front of me last night to check on the name.

    PSVR is the best way to play any game. I mean think about it VR Bioshock, The Last Of Us, The Evil Within and more. Im getting Borderlands 2 VR that's going to be so much fun, VR is the future of gaming. VR has helped me so much with my depression and stuff so i love VR. A bluetooth head set wound be cool in my book. People got to realize this is the first generation of VR it's only going to get better but great video.

    • @DArealCHAZZ
      @DArealCHAZZ 5 лет назад

      @@TheGameCollector just being in the game or some of these beautiful world's with the music is like leaving everything behind. Being in VR i enjoy the immersion i don't just play action games i also play games like Titanic, Mount Everest, Mind Labyrinth VR Dreams and ect. But gaming being VR or not VR helps me by keeping my mind busy and lot of games have great storys like The Last Of Us. But VR helps more because im in the game and it's just a way to get away for a bit. It hard to explain but it makes me smile. Oh Borderlands 2 VR is gonna be great always wanted to visit a place like that lol.

    • @SpaceFaceFPV
      @SpaceFaceFPV 5 лет назад +1

      @@DArealCHAZZ it has helped me in some ways too, im not sure about my depression though directly. i was hoping to ask you if when you aren't in VR is your depression better or is it sort of a fix during, and then the excitement of getting a new game or trying something new on it sort of flooding your mind when you're not playing?
      i personally love mine, it helped me with mobility sadness as i had an accident and cant move around as much as i used to anymore. so things like skyrim and also driving games really blew my mind and gave me a deep sense of freedom that i think really really helped with that particular part of my depression and such.
      me too for gaming in general helping my overall mood and state, even out of games. if i accomplish something or even just have a good hour of fun in a game before having to do something stressful, i can really get through whatever it is easier than if i skip gaming that morning. also if i miss out at night it doesn't bother me too much but i do end up a bit restless the next day, like sad restless.
      i wanted to thank you for your share too, it takes courage to say something personal publicly. thank you DArealCHAZZ :)

    Ive been wanting to go wingsuit gliding since I was a little kid but this game looks too Fiction and dosent truly simulate the reality of it

    • @WithoutParole
      @WithoutParole  3 года назад

      Yup, most VR games won't be simulations - they're definitely designed as games and play like games. Rush VR specifically has to be played standing or sitting vertically (unless you've got a crazy swing in your living room) so the 1:1 immersion factor isn't going to be there anyway. But as a game it's awesome. :D

    • @WithoutParole
      @WithoutParole  4 года назад

      Well, as great as Rush VR is - it's a wingsuit racing game - it has virtually nothing in common with Iron Man VR other than the fact you're able to fly. So if you can, grab both! :D

    #viewertakeover #itsathing Is this going to be another great multiplayer game that in a couple of months you struggle to find matches like so many awesome multiplayer vr games. People seem to move onto the next amazing title and rarely go back. Firewall seems to be the only title that seems to last the distance multiplayer wise.

    This game sounds amazing for $20. Review was awesome but, someone else mentioned this, these "experiences" suck. How about a full game?!?! Granted VR is amazing but there really needs to be a full length game excluding elder scrolls. That doesn't count. Some company needs to make a full VR game. That would be awesome. Regardless keep up the gr8 reviews and can't wait for the next video :-).

      No one said you're not allowed to. But if you have a table that you can slide into the middle of your living room that's the perfect height for the camera to see the headset and controllers while you lay down and arch your neck up to see in front of you --- have at it. Let me know how that experience goes! :D

      1 week on my psvr. Newbie to vr. The VR WORLD'S THE LUGE, made me so nauseated I ripped off the VR. Thinking of taking motion sickness tablets and trying again. I'm on the PS4. Thought about buying the PRO but comments are mixed as to the difference. I have adjusted the VR settings (eyes distance etc) on PS4.
      Thanks for replying.

      The Pro is a nice visual upgrade for PSVR. Drastic improvements for some games, subtle in others.
      Take your time acclimating to VR Ed. Start with some games that don't require much in-game movement (Superhot VR, Beat Saber, etc) then slowly work your way up to games with full locomotion. Keep me posted on your progress! :D

    • @jonhunthrop1882
      @jonhunthrop1882 5 лет назад +2

      Welcome to VR! Don't worry you WILL become more acclimated as you go. You are having to retrain your brain. My advice is to stop playing as soon as you start to feel a little sick until you feel better and soon you'll be playing longer and longer with no problems. Drive Club VR used to make me sick then one day I went back and tried it again and had no problems at all, it was great! I highly recommend that game btw.
