Only discovered this guy very recently as I'm from the uk but he's already one of my favourites. Very relatable to the British sense of humour

Carl looks like a little boy minus the hair! I remember seeing this episode back in ‘97, I remember the audience taking its time to warm up to him. I also remember Meatloaf becoming cantankerous with John Blackman’s comment regarding his name!!!

TV was entertaining back then, like Carl, it brought families together and was simple and funny and not insulting to anyone. I can't understand how TV executives today think that murder violence and drama is entertaining, RBT a show about random breath testing and Highway Patrol is NOT entertaining. Even cooking shows were great with Nigella Lawson and Ainsley Harriit and others great cooks, now it's all drama and back stabbing and bitching and fighting. I miss the good old days of TV.
Wow. I didn't laugh once... as expected. I've seen ads for Carl Barron's shows on TV and always thought "gosh, not again".
I gave THIS video a go just to see if he *is* funny. Still a *massive no* from me. I have friends who can perform funnier stuff and they have day jobs like working in sanitation, working behind a desk, working in nightclubs etc...
