These are two different approaches to the same result of getting the cleanest and straightest cut on the tiles you are cutting. Each saw has it's advantages and disadvantages. Starting with the Imer, this is a large and some what heavier tile cutting saw, but it's advantage comes in when you need to cut larger tiles. This is because it does not have an arm mounting the motor and tile saw blade to the saw base that can get in the way when cutting across longer tiles. It can produce miter cuts at any angle from 0 to 45 degrees, and is more stable making precise cuts with ease.
Next we have the Dewalt Wet Tile Saw. This saw is lighter, easier to maneuver around the worksite, and less expensive but has it's drawbacks as well. For cutting large format tiles the bridge saw is going to have the most available cutting angles, giving it better versatility. The Dewalt will do miter cuts at 22.5 degrees and 45 degrees only. Both of these tile cutting saws are very well made and each has it's place in the tile setter's arsenal. It just depends what exactly you are looking for in a tile saw. #dewalttilesaw #imertilesaw #masterwholesale #tilesaws #tilesawcomparasion #tilesawseattle #tilesaedemo #bridgesawdemo #tilecuttingsaw #wettilesaw

So they like the tray saw because is lighter? Are they gonna get lighter tiles too? 🤔
If you are worried about moving heavy objects around, tiling is now for you

Brilliant and well balanced video. You've mentioned what model of DeWalt tile saw you were using and what model of the bridge saw? Maybe I've missed the details. Nonetheless a very good and helpful video. Thank you.

I'll take the IMER. Bridge saw. Italian quality over any other brand. Extreme precise

Seems like the bridge saw is more for large format tiles, while the DeWalt is all-around saw. I’d like them to try 45 degrees cut on 36” tile on both saws. I’m aware of DeWalt’s max rip capacity.

For consistent results on larger tiles the bridge saw is the way to go.

How about a bridge saw with a 14" blade so I can cut ANYTHING... block, brick or tile.

The only test that matters is scribing a very thin straight line the full length of the tile with a marker and getting people to split the line without chipping the tile! Do that for a long straight cut and then for a 45 degree bevel cut.
A good bridge saw will win any day.

The individuals who preferred the dewalt would have been horrified if they realized there cut was a n 1/8th of an inch out.Tray saws should be removed from the market for there constantly flawed designs in every brand. If you want a saw that will cut tile the same way a table saw cuts wood, get a bridge saw. The only trade where most tools offered, hinder the contractors performance.
