Hiya Tony. Sorry the weather didn't play ball for you but what you caught was fantastic. As you seen we've had a lot of rain over the last week but Sunday was pretty bad. Did you enjoy you're day that's the main thing. Did you get back home okay I seen there was a cancellation between Carlisle and Newcastle due to crew shortage. The autumnal colours looked good. Never seen Irton Road flooded like that before. We seen you a couple of times on the Webcam just after your arrival. Anyway train's will be getting put away before long and track maintenance will start for the next few months. We don't live far from Harrington Station about a couple of miles away. Till the next time you take care and stay safe. Malcolm and Sheila from Workington.
@@malcolmcharlton6954 Hi Malcolm! Sadly not the best weather for it so I only filmed the one journey and not the return but it was still a really good day and I’m glad I got back before the season ends! Yeah I got back fine thanks, I got a lift back from a friend who was there on the day who works at the NYMR so I got back earlier than I would have if I got the train home. I was going to give the webcam a wave but I wasn’t sure if you’s would be watching! Next time though I will! It was nice seeing you’s again on the way. I made sure I sat on that side incase if you’s were at the station! Hopefully get back shortly after the season starts again and who knows maybe see you’s again on the day! Hope you’s both keep well and stay safe until then! Tony
Hiya again Tony what's the chance of that happening again meeting some one you know from you're part of the country and getting a lift back home. Sheila was pleased you didn't get messed about by Northern train's. I went to Carlisle a couple of weeks ago on a Monday and something told me to get on a earlier train back to Workington. Just aswell i did coz the one i was going back on was cancelled. So the one after that would have been packed full Malcolm
