Texas BBQ Legends - Black’s vs Burnt Bean Company

Today we’re road tripping the Texas Hill Country in search of the best BBQ. Our first stop was Black’s in Lockhart Texas. This is truly a Texas legend! It’s the quintessential old school Texas BBQ experience. Everything was exceptional. The first brisket bite from the point…. Well, let’s just say it would give a tadpole the courage to jump up and slap a whale 🐳 😂 Experience it for yourself, it’s a MUST!!
Now it’s time to get back on the road to Seguin Texas to the less known BBQ destination, The Burnt Bean Company. This one’s been on the list for over a year now. Don’t let that name fool you…. This was an amazing experience, and we’ll be back for that Sunday breakfast 🍳
The first brisket bite came straight off the block, thanks to the friendly meat slicing maestro. They had to use the paddles to get me back up off the floor…. Yeah, it was that good 😎 The sides… Well, they’re creative and edgy. It’s a modern Texas BBQ bonanza..
Two very different approaches to Texas BBQ, and we loved them both!! Do yourself a favor and take this meat journey for yourself👌👍
