I’ve been needing to see a Monster School animation like the OG for a while.
Loved some of Herobrine’s animations throughout this lol, nice touch of comedy. And the whole thing was just incredible, animation wise and character wise. The end fight was way too cool, can’t wait to see what happens next.

I love how Red is given a chance to prove himself in this one. Yellow has redstone, Blue's got potions and farming, Green has building and music, SC (Orange) is the best leader, but Red has is good with animals and food (which overlaps with Blue a bit), probably just because he was antagonist in AvM 1. Showing he's actually great at being a Team Leader is so satisfying after him just being "Pig Guy" for so long. Adding "Yellow Team" gives this a show without overlapping with SC's role. The unique monster abilities and Red wielding the "block scepter" in the final fight is just AWESOME. good one!

Honestly I never new that Willcraft was the one who started monster school all along... If I remember correctly I've seen alot of monster school videos before I discovered Willcraft. When I watched one of his popular videos it felt like it had so much quality and effort compared to some I watched. Thats how I got invested into it.

One small inconsistency I noticed was that Endie was kind of the opposite of what he was in the original, but everyone else is spot on that I almost didn’t really care. This was so nostalgic and miles better than the crap made today
@henrytheanglerfish6290 I noticed that too but I like to think Endie is friendly to monster students and with Fighter Red being a complete human stranger, that probably explains why. It makes sense he'd be a one to warm up to them.

That was something that kinda annoyed me throughout the entire video with it because of Endie’s general hostility toward Red. Although I can’t really nitpick much about it because of how it’s been more faithful than 10 years of Monster School content. Apart from that I do like the general consistency with it as most of the personalities are very faithful. There are character details that I wished were a part of it, for example (I’m gonna use mob names because I seriously can’t remember their names) Skeleton’s love for cooking, Wither’s obsession with heads, Endie’s more pacifistic/artistic nature, Silverfish’s independent nature, and Magma Slime’s love of food. But as the video didn’t really even need these details, it makes sense why these weren’t in it. Just a little “I wish” kinda details that were in it.
@Chickenanndo Nitpicks are all fair and dandy dw it's a cool addition to the conversation. I wouldn't call then nitpick too, just small suggestions. We are all in agreement that this video is better than all the previous garbage that came out before.

The narrative irony is so rich in this. The first Animation v Minecraft was Red becoming mad with power of the source block and being possessed by Herobrine. Afterwards Red becomes more or less the "mob" guy, befriending and integrating animals and mobs to his playstyle. Now his solo arc centered around a school where mobs didn't like him and Herobrine is in control of this setting. Loved this short. Great stuff.

the small details like how red had a harder time holding the netherite staff because it’s heavier then the gold staff make these animations just that bit better

I loved the Minecraft Monster School series, they always made me laugh, and added to Alan Beckers' Minecraft animations, it just got a million times more fun to watch!

Monster School and Alan’s animations have been a pretty big part of my childhood, so seeing both the Stickmen and Monsters together really give me huge nostalgia. Such good memories….

The creativity behind the staff weapon should get a lot more attention, I love how drastically it changes properties based on what block is inside, from basically a physgun/toolgun with the command block, to this almost energy-based, bo-like weapon with a gold block, to a heavy hitter that just instantly doubles down on its weight and power the second a netherite block is channeled, I’d love to see what other things you guys can think of for it’s capabilities.
Yeah, the staff is really cool. Imagine if it channeled with TNT Block, it probably won't end well though.
