Hi alan
Whoa, that's fast.
Hello Alan
Nice. I almost cried with this animation. that was awesome, congrats Alan.
A son chasing after a father that never cared and a father who chased after a son he cared for so much... Absolutely poetic, Alan. I'm crying.
That confused me a little
And at the end all the loose ends are all tied up. Purple finds a father figure who cares for him and King Orange finds a son that he can care for. Win win.

Even without emotions or eyes or faces nor speech you can see how dedicated king orange is to save purple, Amazing details Alan. Real amazing, made me tear a bit.

My brother and I are nearly 30 and found ourselves enjoying the creativity and whimsy of the series, thinking it was just "good content targeted at a younger demographic"... but then we hit this one and we cried for nearly two hours at King's backstory... holy crap man, that was incredible! Several days later and I'm still choking up just thinking about it; I can't remember the last time a story hit me that hard... thank you for your awesome work.
woah thats a lot of money :o thx for supporting alan
Cool
And so you donated two hundred dollars.
same, at first when I was like 11, this thing keeps popping up in my recommendation, though I didn't click it because I thought this is one of those cringe Monster School-like type videos, it bothers me that it won't get rid of it in my home page so I clicked it and hey, got into the lore of this. This finale though is so well mixed of emotion, this is just masterpiece.
Dude you are amazing for writing this and donating.
I love how the King's origin story makes the audience initially think that his schemes are an attempt to bring his son back to life, but the scene in the Void makes it clear that it was about getting revenge on the thing that he blames for his son's death. 10/10 writing.
I thought that he was just beating the world and not that he wants to take revenge on him
I think he tried getting his son back by destroying the game but in the end realized that in doing so he was just hurting so many beings and, if his son is still in there, also his son.
More like 6/10 I don’t find it that good
@@iamengie2573 Can you please elaborate?
@@veselinborisov369 story just was not that well I didn’t think it would fit for orange to have a son and that ruined him in the end
Man, that scene where King Orange hugs Purple makes me cry. Every. Single. Time. There's just so much symbolism from the violin playing, to the fact that King Orange finally broke through the glass, and to break through the glass he had to break through the angry rage-and-revenge-fueled version of himself, and it was Purple on the other side of it instead of his son, and King's glass shards look like Purple's flower petals... I could go on. It's just so good.
Oh yeah, and the fact that the melody from Purple's song in the previous episode plays when he's running towards King- just emphasizing how it mirrors the desperate struggle Purple's made to get to that father figure all his life- it makes my little musician brain explode with happiness. When I first watched that part, I recognized the melody instantly, and I pretty nearly screamed from excitement.
Funny thing is King is taller than the rest of the crew since he's an adult. IN theory, the crew (Red, blue, green, yellow, and TSC) are just kids or teens, purple included. So in hindsight King was hurting childern.
🫢
Then how the hell do these "teens" can do better martial arts then most of adults and they know sorcery and blue is a whole masterchef! 💀
I think that orange is just having a height crises...
@@dhirjanayal997 nah, some kids just have cracked fighting skills. I would know. *flashbacks*
@@dhirjanayal997honestly it seems like stickmen have a culture thing of being able to fight. the og group were doing it from the start, purple’s dad was upset because he couldn’t and it was clear there was an expectation. even king and his kid had a decent spar with the corndogs.

It is a testament to your creativity and dedication that today, millions of people are witnessing this masterpiece unfold on their screens. Thank you to you and your team for giving us an epic tale to experience.
isnt yellow a prince? because hes the son of orange king (right?) so he would be a crown prince if the orange king is an actual king
edit: after scrolling through the replies i think what happened is that the orange king is the yellow son who got stuck in the minecraft and the orange king is the son of the other orange person we see and he became a king in the minecraft realm and the yellow that we see with all the other stickfigures just originated from that stickfigure fighting house that alan made

I saw this one loving detail at 30:00, Purple put the crown on the pig which was a Technoblade detail. It broke my heart when I saw it.
I really loved that in the wall drawing sequence, it shows him blinded by pure rage and takes his frustration out on the game. Hurting anyone and everyone in it, he didnt realize that he was hurting his son too. I hope that The King gets a happy ending where he gets his original son back somehow and have a happy ending.

This episode made me cry.. one of my favorites, it's just too beautiful, all their dynamics, relationships.... this was more than just perfect.
10:09 OH MY GOSH. I JUST REALIZED THE ROCKET LOGO FROM AVA IS ON THE TV.
this could mean so many things like:
Rocket is a popular tech company that’s secretly evil
King orange and purple live where the most recent AVAs take place and could be in it as a plot twist, help out or even bring Minecraft friends with them.
And so much more…
If y’all have theories reply to this because a theory could be right
It isn't so much a _theory_ as it is fact. The stick-figure world where Orange and Purple came from is that same world that was, presumably, revolutionized by the Rocket corporation, whatever their real name is, making both series undeniably linked.
Of course there's numerous questions left unanswered about that world in the first place; like where is it physically? The sky is made up of each unique IP Address for all computers on the Internet, so is that world supposed to be the literal representation of the endless linked network servers? What's the Rocket corp's real motive behind their control over that world, and especially what's Victim's goal in it? Better yet, in one of those AvA VI episodes, when Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow try to ask the resident figures about the Corporation, they try to resist the question entirely and refuse to answer it... just what is their real involvement besides what we've seen?
But that's all beside the point; the real question is, since the Minecraft world exists seperate to it, but it's objects still persist even in the stick-world and function as expected, and as you've said, will that fact ever become involved in the AvA's story, even if Minecraft isn't necessarily the focus?
Well to answer that, I'd somehow doubt that Purple would remain uninvolved in this forever, since they're basically the honorary 6th member of the crew along with the original 4 and TSC, and if Purple were to be captured when trying to investigate their sudden disappearance... well, I'd reason that Orange wouldn't be happy about it. I couldn't imagine the kind of carnage that the Staff equipped with a command block could cause if used to it's fullest extent; just one '/fill ~-20 ~-20 ~20 ~20 ~20 ~20 minecraft:air replace' command could easly remove entire buildings, and have you ever tried to do a '/summon fireball ~ ~ ~ {ExplosionPower:999}'?
These characters have absolutely no facial features and yet the perfect choreography makes it SO easy to tell what way they're looking or what they're trying to express. Absolutely masterful.
I don't know where they're looking.

Proud to say I'm a 23 year old man who was moved to full-on-face-streaming tears, by a Minecraft animation with stickmen who don't say anything. The recent episodes in the series are plainly incredible-- absolutely incredible pieces of storytelling. A perfect example of showing so much more than telling. Glad to have been on this ride since its beginning, and as much as I want more AVM shorts, I hope it's continued in a way that respects this episode being the finale to an epic story. Massive congrats to Alan and the team for sticking the landing.

The fact that the king was pretty much unstoppable at that point but switched sides at his own will (literally because of a change of heart) .That's honestly quite rare to see coming from a villain. And the fact that he's not just some kind of a dumb villain who gets wrecked after loses, he's very strong and intelligent. But on a serious note, this whole series was an actual work of art. Actions speak louder than words, as they say, and the way Alan Becker described this entire story in such a moving way while using only movement is both inspirational and beautiful. The entire relationship between King and purple had me on the verge of tears so many times. The fact that they both lost the people most important to them, making them bitter to everyone until they found eachother and saw those people in eachother is so well written and expressed. (Unlike this sentance, haha) I've loved this series from the very very first episode, and I am more than pleased, impressed, shocked, and moved by how far it's come and how it ended.
(On a side note, the true motive behind both King and Purples actions was a huge plot twist and view changer. At first I thought the only thing they were after was power, before we saw Kings backstory. By the end battle I didn't know who I was rooting for, until the Void scene occured. I thought he was trying to get his son back when in reality he was just talking out his anger on everything in his path, including the cause itself. And when it all started, it was practically impossible to decipher what would bring us such content. Thanks.

“Screw it, we ball!”
wow, in my whole life i never though watching an animation would give me lucid eyes. It's just like a film and whenever i re-watch it, i have always tears in my eyes.
One thing I appreciate after watching again at 15:20 (the part where King Orange nicks the blue staff from Yellow and uses it to gain the advantage) is that this was after it was shown to us that King Orange spent a long time developing and perfecting the staff after a lot of prototypes, so it makes sense that his skills wielding the staff would far outclass everyone else who was using it.
It's probably unintentionally but I like how it gives context to why he is able to use the staff as skillfully as he can; making more sense how a single staff like such can turn the tide of battle when everything seemed lost. Which in turn avoids being contrived.
The season was structured like a Regular Show episode.
Blue needs to fill his addiction, goes to nearest fortress to get his fix. Tomfoolery ensues. Few episode later, entire cast is fighting to prevent the destruction of the world. Beautiful.

1:00 Purple's father Blue living his musical dream
9:16 Info about Herobrine (later seen in the episode)
9:17 Very brief look about the Titan Ravagers (really big Ravagers)
10:08 Obviously first episode of MC vs animation ever
16:08 Herobrine back from the Monster School
17:55 Herobrine possessing red just like from the very first episode and using the obsidian stick figure form
19:54 Reference to the village
19:58 Reference to the school
20:02 Reference to the Witch (who somehow got all the way back after the beat down from the pig)
27:34 Note block universe back where Purple explained to Green how he was fatherless and alone after his mother died and then (Former) King Orange coming in as the father figure in his life and Purple replacing his son
30:00 Technoblade reference RIP
Edit:Came back to this and realised people actually read this also changed how things were worded a little.
glad i wasnt the only one who didnt miss these (missed a couple but the techno reference was amazing)
ok .-.
I feel horrible now as i didnt realize the techno reference until now
Bro the possession of red was INSANE😊
Reference to how Purple was before to Green fatherless and alone after his mother died and then Orange coming in as the father figure in his life and Purple as the son
do they even have parents? they legit came from a website called stickfiguresfight or something
Dang, it's been a year. But this, this still hits hard.
This is all happened because blue was wanted some netherwarts... hopefully this experience shows us who is purple 💜
Calling this an epic finale doesn't do it justice. This series has always had jaw-dropping animation, but the final episode brings it to a whole new level. And an absolutely beautiful story to boot. I still can't believe a RUclips channel that started out as a hobby years ago is making better stuff than some of the biggest billion-dollar animation companies today.
Fr!
Alan literally solos most of the newer films Marvel has released (just my opinion, I love anything that makes me shed a tear)
this is just so sad
Can we ever call the stay in though I mean there’s always gonna be something else something new so I don’t think this is the end but I also don’t think it’s the beginning it’s more like him 30 minutes into a movie
This is able to make a grown man cry
I don’t often cry when watching anything, movies, shows, whatever. But this is something else. To think I cried over a battle of stick figures, who, throughout their entire existence, have never spoken a single real word. This series is an absolute masterpiece, it takes “show don’t tell” to an entirely new level. Not only is the animation absolutely incredible, but the story is so poetic yet so simple. This is genuinely one of the best things I think I’ve ever seen on the internet. I remember watching Alan Becker’s animations for years, but this is genuinely something else.
Thank you, Alan, and everyone else involved, you’ve created an absolute masterpiece. The only disappointing thing is that more people don’t know about this.
I'm in the same boat. 🥲
they have spoken some words if you count the captions in some of the videos
THESE ARE THE WORDS I WISH TO SPEAK! I put it in all caps to show my happiness, but you seem like a friend I want!
Except for AVA 4 when TSC is trapped in the box by alan
Life isnt about happy endings, its about earning the happy endings - what alan taught me
This is art in the form of presentation! This whole thing could have gone so wrong if it wasn’t for Alan in the directors chair. It takes itself incredibly seriously when thinks go wrong, no cringe jokes are made to ruin the tone, hell not even a single word is spoken making it incredibly non-verbal and deaf friendly, and to top it all off the story/storytelling of this outlandish Minecraft, Stickfigure animation honestly beats multi-MILLION times movie studios, it’s nuts!
After 6 years, I still don't get tired of looking after seemingly just stick figures. It would seem that they are just stick figures, but after watching there are warm feelings, feelings of joy, a desire to find out what will happen next. Your skill grows as I grow, Alan. This part was really epic, a great end to the season. We are waiting for new episodes, thank you, Alan!
The fact that this team was able to take stick figures in a block game and turn it into an absolute cinematic masterpiece really shows the sheer talent of everyone involved. Literally everything about this is perfect: the intricate plot with little subtilties, the animation on another level, the music that I need on Spotify right now, and even the tribute to Tecnoblade at the end, all without a single word of dialogue. This is truly a story for the ages.
PUTTING. THE CROWN ON THE PIG, HOW’D I NOT NOTICE
And btw ur right about everything u said, Alan Becker is amazing
I agree
God, I can’t find anything besides you people anywhere here
Oh my god. I've just seen that at 30:48 , when they all go back through the portal, you can see blue having nether wart in his hand, which symbolises the end of his mission to get nether wart
I can't this is too much,my tears are just falling of my face while feeling heartbroken,i am speechless
my soul is just breaking down
This was hands-down one of the greatest RUclips series ever created. The animation, storytelling, characters were so unbelievably incredible, and I never even considered the possibility of stick figures having such emotional scenes with such deep backstories until this series came to be. Alan and everyone on his team, the outstanding work here is undeniably and truly fucking awesome; I can't wait until more comes out!
This is going to be one of the most divine animations by Alan that I have seen yet. It's incredible how he improved since Animation vs Minecraft.

I cried in King Oranges backstory, very dramitic epsiode, to say the least. But this epsiode was great!
10/10. Somehow, i never thought i would cry over stick figures. But today, Allen Becker proved me wrong. Wholesome af.
Who would’ve thought that a fun animation video from 6 years ago would span into such a cinematic series full of emotion as this one? Alan has outdone himself, and I’m sure everyone can agree. This has all been beautiful, and I am glad to be part of the audience that was able to experience it all. Thank you.
It's even longer than six years. Orange/The Second Coming originated from Animator vs. Animation IV, which in turn was an installment of the original Animator vs. Animation going all the way back to the year 2006. This has been over a decade and a half in the making.

I love how they slowly went from shorts, to 30m mini movies. 😢 This plot is better than half the movies in existence, and I can only hope Alan continues to give us these gifts.
It had me tearing
almost as good as killer bean forever
and thats a compliment
not long ago but i saw a YT comment saying that in a discord server, someone said that alan becker is thinking to make a new series of something

The king’s backstory was so awful. He lost something he cared about the most. He deserves all the hugs honestly. My dad recently died because of a shooting in a city, I loved him a lot so I literally threw a rock at the shooter in the head. I still hope that killed the shooter though. He deserved it honestly. Back to this animation, probably one of the most greatest animations I’ve seen yet. Keep up the work dude! :)
damn i'm so sorry for your loss, I hope that rock ended up killing that shooter too
Sorry you had to go through that
Sorry but HOW THE HELL DID YOU BEAT A SHOOTER USING A ROCK BEFORE HE SHOOT YOU? ,-,

I never thought I'd shed tears watching this animation, let alone any other movie or book. I finally understand what a real masterpiece looks like. This was the most beautiful animation, in fact, story that I have ever come across.
Same bro same
16:34 king was like " ah the fabled Herobrine"
I love how people understand this even if this doesn't have a face and speech and this made me cry alan you made such a great masterpeice or i mean imagination
