What started out as a fun light hearted animated project, is now the most intense minecraft story I have ever seen. Hats off to Alan Edit: I didn't expected this many likes, thanks for almost 4k likes
@im_a_human The guy isnt a Minecraft entity, it might not work. At the same time that person used to be their friend, he probably doesn't want to kill them.
8:55 At least King had the foresight to destroy the Netherite block this time, but he still refuses to just pocket it for later. I think this reflects King's biggest character flaws: he's arrogant and unimaginative. He clearly doesn't bother to make backup plans, because that would account for the potential for his plan to fail. He needlessly throws away useful tools (the Command block, Purple, the Gold block) once they seem to have fulfilled their purpose, failing to consider how they could be used against him. It comes back to bite him every time, especially since the story seems to be building towards Purple helping Green to save the day here. And look at how he uses the Creative block compared to how Orange uses it, he's got the entirety of Minecraft in his hands and he chooses to throw arrows and Ghast blasts around, which looks impressive but has accomplished nothing so far. He's holding his own, sure, but it's only because he's so strong and so tough that he can afford to keep making such mistakes. One must conclude that he could be doing much more with this power, if only he were more... creative. This is all great stuff, an ideal villain SHOULD have certain character flaws which cost them in the end, and I think it's truly impressive that so much of this character has been conveyed through their actions alone.
I like the minor detail of the Three Heroes using their previous skills in battle The fisherman using a fishing rod to swing like spider-man The farmer using a Hoe as a secondary sweeping weapon The Shepard using his shears as a spare combat knife Its the small things that make it all the better
and i also love that different stickfigures have different way of showing their thinking. the King makes maps, SC kind of makes their thoughts visible, Red does the same but in a slightly different style, and Yellow uses the command block to animate blocks
It's also a nice touch that all three are professions which use bladed tools, explaining why they volunteered for sword duty. Fishermen have fillet knives, Farmers have hoes and scythes, Shepherds have shears.
They’re also the first three villagers who encountered Yellow and Blue in the ravager video, the ones who were looking for solutions to their food shortage problem, which makes it feel even more meaningful that they became the defenders of the village
1. I like how blue seems a little slow when crafting since crafting was SC's specialty 2. The wizard is insane 3. I just realized that every stick has their own way of asking for help. SC used his crafting skills to make a flute of sorts and used what he had on hand. Red used his skills with friendly mobs to help recruit monsters from the monster school and yellow used his knowledge of redstone/commands to get the titan ravager.

Pixar makes 3d films with full ray tracing. Alan Becker's animation is unique, but it is a layered 2d animation without ray tracing. It takes less time to make 2d animations. The comparison and your premise do not have any validity. For example, a single frame of toy story 4 could take days to render. If you've seen minusT's animations on RUclips, they are only 5-6 minute long independent animation videos in 3d, and each one takes about a year to make. To be honest, Alan has a team of other animators that he has help with making his videos. I don't know if Alan does most of the work, or only an even amount of work. I just think using Pixar as your comparison point was fallacious. Alan very much could have his own website streaming service. It's honestly incredible how Alan is able to give life to a few stickmen and provide so much Minecraft lore that is so creative and imaginative! What started out as a sweet story about an orange stickman wanting friends, to this, is crazy to think about and I'm so glad you continue to amaze us with your animations
these animations are INCREDIBLE. the use of environment, the creative game mechanics, the amount of stuff going on at every second, along with the plot of them getting split up and each finding their own way back to each other again, the way every episode adds a bit to the final fight with king orange, the continuity behind each character (yellow being good at redstone, so he uses the command block, while red is good with mobs/animals, so he got help from the mobs) how the story is communicated perfectly without any dialogue whatsoever--im blown away by each episode. you guys are doing amazing!
I'm seriously having a heart attack from how intense and epic this is!!! To think that everyone just gets help from the places they were are just incredible!!! Can't wait for the next one Alan! Have a good one till then
It’s honestly incredible how smoothly these animations flow together, not to mention that they are usually completed in a couple of months. Alan has really come a long way!
Mods man, you need mods for that. Sadly only the 1.12.2 version has villager mods of the right scope. My favorite is combining the Millionaire cities and large scale wars, with the Tektopia villagers where everyone acts like homer simpson, stacked on top with the Ancient Warfare mod for workers you have complete control over, then topped off with the algorithmic neural networked AI from the 'Paleolithic revolution' mod. So it's 4 types of completely different AI that all interact with each other in hilarious ways. Funniest thing is when a Revolution mob gets bopped by a villager guard, then "learns" to be afraid of all villagers. Because it can't tell the different between a guard and a farmer.
I still remember that Alan Becker makes AVM shorts videos off an idea from a poll at Patreon. Now it’s a fantastic Minecraft story with very intense fight scenes and great lore!
I just want to point out that this series as of now, including any end card stuff because I'm not going through all that, is 3 hours 53 minutes long. Nearly 4 hours! And there's other series that are in the works at the same time! Certainly impressive, if you ask me
I like how everything the stickmen explain something these use different methods. We’ve seen charades,a action tree, music, the command block staff, animated drawings, and clips from previous episodes.
I love the detail that scepters with generic blocks only work as brute strength which scales depending on how rare or how durable the block is. With the building block it has unlimited building power, can basically shape and terraform with ease. And with the command block it literally can shape reality. This is such a great concept for something that doesn't actually exist in game, and such well written fantasy, it follows minecraft rules to some extent and i find that pretty amazing.
i feel like the scepter moreso functions as a "what is something about this that would make sense on a long stick in fantasy?"- for gold (a conductive element) it seems to be mostly based around faux-electrical attacks, with lightning and the like. with netherite, it seems to be your average "infinite density" element- something with absurd amounts of inertia that you can impact onto something as if it was a normal hammer. with a command block (something which already has absurd amounts of power) it makes sense then for a staff of that type to be primarily based around commands- even when the command isn't possible base-game (see: attribute:generic-shield) thus, if the minecraft block functions as creative mode (for the player/stick figures- infinite items, instant block breaking), it would naturally result in a staff centered around creation/destruction of the terrain
@@trigger7ff6 What I see from Netherite and Gold with the scepter is the actual properties of the block. Gold is known for being very fast and weak when used with tools, which was shown here. Netherite, being a combo of gold and nether debris, makes it very strong. And, probably heavy to carry! That's why it packs a big punch and is difficult to move around here.
@@CosmicCrimson consider the following: gold may be fast and weak when used with tools, but it (in itself) is a very heavy material. however, netherite is the second fastest material in the game- and it is also very heavy since inherently the only thing setting them apart is breaking time, blast resistance, and maybe some niche things like whether endermen can pick them up i don't think that gold/netherite is enough to say it's inherently tied to the properties of the block (also, did you see the gold block? it was clearly not just fast but weak, it was focused seemingly around gold streaks of lightning rather than your average "heavy thing" mace or whatever) besides, command/creative block staves seem to have similar capabilities to their block counterparts but with more out there capabilities seemingly drawn from what would happen if you brought that sort of device into reality
@@trigger7ff6 My Question is what would happen with bedrock, skulk, reinforced deepslate, obsidian, or diamond; Also a lucky block scepter, with the core (the white orb from the lucky block video) exposed, it could be on par with the creative staff, also imagine the raw power of controlling all skulk and it's grip on soul energy, or how a diamond one could create long range, high damage shards (being diamond is a hard crystal with sharp pyramidal structure); also a reinforced deepslate/obsidian one would most likely be slightly better than netherite
@@pillager_are_cool Not sadly! I'm happy that Villagers won't because it would ruin them. They are pacifists. Iron golems are better. Edit: not to mean it doesn't look cool in the animations, it looks sick, but it wouldn't work as well properly implemented in the game.
@MultiTube I went to this guy's video. The don't open the link is just a pirates of the Caribbean scene and later a real footage of a ship crushing on a bridge. On Don't read the pinned Comment video (the one with the ship) has a pinned Comment where he says that we must not open it. I went on that video and guess what: It was SpongeBob and Patrick as wrestlers and on that SpongeBob video is Wrestler SpongeBob tries to clear the Pat from Patrick's license on his chest. When the Pat is getting cleared, a Rick Roll will pop up
Starting from Episode 25, this series has absolutely gone above and beyond what anyone thought was capable. The fight scenes are getting so impossibly complex and the stories are getting more and more exciting. Definitely one of the greatest Minecraft animated series of all time. Alan Becker and his team are insane. XD And we haven't even seen Green yet, how do we escalate the fight from here?!
@@tonymontana8164 I mean the king just combined two Minecraft blocks TWO. MINECRAFT. BLOCKS. If one of them was that powerful, imagine how much power two of them combined holds
Alan has shown an incredible amount of skill in his ability to make a compelling story through the use of a bunch of blocks and some stick figures. The way that this video and many of his others has given me chills is honestly amazing. The fight scenes and story alike are well done and always leave me hyped for the next installment. Bravo, sir. Bravo.
throughout all the 7 years, Alan has been able to create a story with just stick figures and a cube game more interesting than a Netflix show, without even saying a word. Alan deserves so much
It's nice to see the story evolve into something epic. At first, it was just 5 stick figure friends messing around, but now it's an epic adventure through time and space.
3 things 1. Love that you remember to illusioner and added him to the raid. 2. You fulfilled the thoughts of self defending villagers 3. CAN'T WAIT FOR THE BATTLE
Props to Alan and the rest of his animation team! I know there's plenty of people behind these episodes so thank you to those folks as well, this is next level creative energy.
Oh my god. The end is literally the most intense thing I've ever seen. This has gone from some highschool project to a full-blown chronicle and I love it. Keep up the good work Alan.

I saw the original Animator vs Animation sooo long ago and then this channel disappeared from my recommended for years. The other day it popped up out of nowhere and I've been binge watching all the episodes since. This series is seriously epic! The battles, the build-up, the story and lore! It makes the MCU look like a children's book.
I absolutely love how red uses the staff as a Netherite mace and King Orange makes a giant version of a mace, we definitely need maces (and clubs) in minecraft
Prediction: Since Green's the only one who hasn't been focused on post-Episode 25, Episode 29 will be about his journey chasing after Purple and converting him to the light, then going back to battle Evil Orange with the rest in Episode 30.
Yes 'cause Orange King(or Evil Orange) can't get more powerful, there's only 2 minecrafts. Or will he find something EVEN more powerful? Well i don't think so.
I really hope next episode tell us a bit about what King Orange want to accomplish with the staff of minecraft block. I'm sure Alan can put this after purple turns back to good guy and tells green everything
Back here again to gush about the details! The giant Ravagerling coming back to help the gang? The three armed villagers using their tools alongside their weapons like a hoe, scissors, and the fishing stick? Literally every single character constantly doing something? The personality and heart given to even the literal villains? I love all of it so much! That's not even mentioning the stellar animation, sound design, music, and storyboarding that went into this! Episode after episode, this series continues to impress. These episodes are always, always, always worth the wait, as every single new one brings so much more to the table. Incredible work as always. 🧡❤💛💚💙
Without any commentary, May this Series become a living legend to us in the future! I love this and Not just love but Inspired! Keep up the good work, Alan and The Animators!
I love how he can tell such expressive stories, all without any dialogue at all. The giant ravager is a creature distraught by the loss of its family and wishing for revenge, and the look of fear on its face when it sees the command block is so...clear. It's just incredible
Even though these videos take months to come out, ITS WORTH THE WAIT, and it makes sense that these take so long to make because there's now way someone can make these absolute MASTERPIECES in just 3 days. Edit: Wow I don't think I've ever had this many likes before. Thanks.

these animations are INCREDIBLE. the use of environment, the creative game mechanics, the amount of stuff going on at every second, along with the plot of them getting split up and each finding their own way back to each other again, the way every episode adds a bit to the final fight with king orange, the continuity behind each character (yellow being good at redstone, so he uses the command block, while red is good with mobs/animals, so he got help from the mobs) how the story is communicated perfectly without any dialogue whatsoever--im blown away by each episode. you guys are doing amazing!

Imagine if villagers were this expressive and active in the actual game.
Imagine dude...
@SUWQLGFnF that's insane

@@darladane0201 you're welcome!
But that DOES beg the question;
What is the full game block itself doing in this case? And what is the King’s end goal?
i feel like the scepter moreso functions as a "what is something about this that would make sense on a long stick in fantasy?"- for gold (a conductive element) it seems to be mostly based around faux-electrical attacks, with lightning and the like. with netherite, it seems to be your average "infinite density" element- something with absurd amounts of inertia that you can impact onto something as if it was a normal hammer. with a command block (something which already has absurd amounts of power) it makes sense then for a staff of that type to be primarily based around commands- even when the command isn't possible base-game (see: attribute:generic-shield)
thus, if the minecraft block functions as creative mode (for the player/stick figures- infinite items, instant block breaking), it would naturally result in a staff centered around creation/destruction of the terrain
@@trigger7ff6
What I see from Netherite and Gold with the scepter is the actual properties of the block.
Gold is known for being very fast and weak when used with tools, which was shown here.
Netherite, being a combo of gold and nether debris, makes it very strong. And, probably heavy to carry! That's why it packs a big punch and is difficult to move around here.
@@CosmicCrimson consider the following:
gold may be fast and weak when used with tools, but it (in itself) is a very heavy material. however, netherite is the second fastest material in the game- and it is also very heavy
since inherently the only thing setting them apart is breaking time, blast resistance, and maybe some niche things like whether endermen can pick them up i don't think that gold/netherite is enough to say it's inherently tied to the properties of the block
(also, did you see the gold block? it was clearly not just fast but weak, it was focused seemingly around gold streaks of lightning rather than your average "heavy thing" mace or whatever)
besides, command/creative block staves seem to have similar capabilities to their block counterparts but with more out there capabilities seemingly drawn from what would happen if you brought that sort of device into reality
Imagine if villagers were actually this diverse... Minecraft would not feel the same.
Sadly mojang told us that villager will never hold a weapon
