- Well after a quick 2 hours, the judges decided which of these final 3 groups will be the winner of this special sing off season...i wasn't surprised by the decision to be honest because i think it was a long time coming seeing as how these types of groups always make it so far yet never seem to win...
Will there be any female winners this time or is it another sausage fest lol.
But did the right group win? let's see if people think so. Hope everyone enjoyed this one episode season of the sing off..if they do bring it back, i hope they have more than this so let's hope they do =)

I think that if they brought back the Sing off now, it would be a lot more successful. American Idol is gone, so that's less competition. Also, acapella music is just waaaaay more popular now. There are acapella shows out there, but they're not competitions, and not as cool. Bring back the Sing off!!!!

They shouldn’t even had called this the “5th season” it’s confusing considering it’s only 1 episode. They should have called it “The Sing Off: The Winter Special”
Edit: I know they did called it the “Holiday Special” but still they labeled it as “season 5”. Also, why am I complaining about something of a show that has been canceled for 6 years?!? LMAO sorry guys.
I think it being a cash prize and not a record deal made it easier to pick a collegiate group if it worked out that way.
THAT is what I’ve said from Season 1 on! I’m glad someone finally verbalized what I’ve thot all along. I actually didn’t know, not having seen all the seasons on tv so I never knew about nota or what happened after, Committed wasn’t my cup of tea so I didn’t follow their journey, but mostly importantly, that PTX WASN'T given the record deal & the wording was that Sony COULD sign them, but they chose not to. Also didn’t know that NO ONE wanted to sign them before the Sing Off or after, until they went on YT and got huge, then RCA was after them. I watched them quite often for a bit, but then they started doing too many songs I didn’t like, and my musical tastes actually changed somewhat & had Season 3 been on now, I wouldn’t have voted for them! But then I accidentally discovered HF and haven’t disliked a single song so far & they just dropped a new one today (8-14-2020) on YT!

Of the three in the finals, good pick for the winner. However; I would not have selected them to even be in the finals based on their first song.
They worked hard to win. But then, in my opinion the journey is too short unlike teh other season. If Pentatonix join this season, it will be really hard to win since the growth of every group is not seen. And honestly, I dont think the champion should get the title champion since the competition is so short that you cannot even fix it if you made a mistake. Btw, thx mrduckbear for uploading this video, since im not from USA and I cannot see it.
PS: I did not mean to say that Pentatonix is bad, I mean that Pentatonix could win beacause of the growth.

That's....disappointing... It seems silly for them to call it a 'season' when they know they're only filming one show. But, I supposed they tried. I can't understand why the show wasn't more popular.

If the same 6 groups had multiple episodes to complete, I am not sure if the same group would win. I really hope the Sing-Off can come back next year as a full season show or just a special. But at the same rate they are downsizing the show, I wouldn't be surprised if it winds up on Vine. Pity.
