One time i was on the F local train and all of a sudden because of track congestion they rerouted the train to the dimaond F line and i got to see the bergen lower level and pass over the gowanus bridge with out making any stops-the only time when you go above ground without making any stops other than manhattan bridge
What you were saying about the F going express after 71 Av. I don’t think F trains are allowed to do that because E trains already skip 75 Av and Briarwood on weekdays and since the M and R trains end/begin their route at 71 Av, the F has to make local stops east of 71 Av. But I get what you’re saying how they should give you a pass after almost 30 minutes of waiting.. I’d be pissed too. Maybe they should’ve skipped 75 Av & Briarwood and make all stops on Hillside Av? I don’t know if that’s possible but they should have like a track switch between Briarwood and Sutphin Blvd so that trains can skip 75 Av and Briarwood and still be able to stop at Sutphin Blvd and 169 St.
@christiangarc7327 yeah basically. We got held at Rockefeller bc the trash M's signal wouldn't turn over. So that 22 minute delay cost me my train in front. But essentially to make up the time they should've sent us Exp after 71 Ave... so Kew Gardens, Parsons Blvd then 179. But oh well 😂
@@FuseguyisCool oh wow that’s horrible. I really hate delays. One time I was on an F going from 71 Av to Roosevelt Av and the train wasn’t moving at all for like 5 minutes. It was stuck at around 67 Av and there wasn’t even a train in front of us!
