Engie is, by far, my favorite out the group. He’s calm, tame, doesn’t take no bull from anyone... He’s more supportive then Medic, and there’s almost as many ways to play him as bloody Demoman...
For the longest time, I wanted to main Scout because I thought I was pretty good at him, and I liked speedy characters. But I actually think I might like the Engineer a bit more. Not only for his gameplay, but also his character.
And my favourite part about Enjie is, like you said, the fact that he has about as many play styles as demo. Demo is also one of my favourites because of his various play styles, such as demo knight, traps, double donk, stuff like that, and with Engineer, there’s battle Engi, default Engi, and probably a bunch of other play styles I can’t name off the top of my head.
Profit if it isn’t called this yet, engineers that spawn camp red team on offense should be called troll-gineers. I personally like that, that and gunslinger and level sentry with rescue ranger

Engie is, by far, my favorite out the group. He’s calm, tame, doesn’t take no bull from anyone... He’s more supportive then Medic, and there’s almost as many ways to play him as bloody Demoman...

For the longest time, I wanted to main Scout because I thought I was pretty good at him, and I liked speedy characters. But I actually think I might like the Engineer a bit more. Not only for his gameplay, but also his character.

And my favourite part about Enjie is, like you said, the fact that he has about as many play styles as demo. Demo is also one of my favourites because of his various play styles, such as demo knight, traps, double donk, stuff like that, and with Engineer, there’s battle Engi, default Engi, and probably a bunch of other play styles I can’t name off the top of my head.
Profit if it isn’t called this yet, engineers that spawn camp red team on offense should be called troll-gineers. I personally like that, that and gunslinger and level sentry with rescue ranger
Fun fact: I performed this as a monologue assignment for my drama class and everyone applauded and was surprised about how I was in character. I got a good grade but my drama teacher said I needed more articulation 👍

Fun fact: Although Engineer says he designed and built the sentries, it’s canon in the comics that his sentries were designed by his grandfather, who also made the age-extending machines for Blu Mann, Red Mann and The Administrator.
I’d imagine that his grandfather designed the first working prototype for the sentries. Dell just upgraded them.
