    These are some really nice drills. I always forget or skip through drills like this because i get caught up working on technical stuff too much like sparring and mitt works. It's always good to go back to the basics sometimes and work on making everything perfect. Good stuff man keep it up!!

    Dude this is genius. I'm subscribing. When u said to punch with the arm on the same side as the side you move to I had an epiphany. Something clicked thank u. I don't have any trainers where I live and you are helping so much already

    You are simply amazing.. It looks so easy when I'm watching you doing it but when I tried the steps myself I really screwed it up. You are the only person here I want to watch the videos again and again.

  • @SowiniBushido

    I'm glad glad i subscribed to you. I don't box but in my martial arts class they didn't really explain that much about rhythm. They just tell me to move my feet during punching which didn't help clarify things at all. I'm not the type that learns things from just seeing it. Thanks man.

      Mark Anthony Hey Mark, I'm interested in making a free home boxing workout for people in the military around the world. And then maybe offering a discount on some of my existing products to people in the military. Can you tell me what you like the most? Is it the focus on techniques? Would it be a boxing specific workout that requires no equipment? I'm guessing the biggest limitation is boxing instruction and equipment, but i'm not sure. Also, is there any way I can get someone to verify that they are in the military so I can offer the free and discounted products? thanks, J

      Владимир Лоркин I have a video "boxing home workout #4", search for that video. in it you will see me do the shoeshine as a warm up drill. The shoeshine is not very useful for actual fighting but good to help you get your hands and feet moving as a drill.

    As always, the best boxing videos on the web. Question, is there a set number of rounds that I should do these for? Should I alternate between each drill in 3-min sequences? How long and often would you recommend to do this each week?

    • @elixthirst
      @elixthirst 8 лет назад

      +Jose Merino imo I would say do this daily for atleast 20minutes for 3or5 minute round's to build muscle memory and then you will become bored and u will have to add more things to ur regimin like pivot's and exit's ( pull, tag, retrieve) He has a few training dvd's that will do u justice.

    I heard that you’re supposed to learn how to fight with and without rhythm?
    For the rhythm part, what if you never had any rhythm of any type? Like is there a video or some guide I could go to on how to get rhythm first and then how to maintain it for as long as I want whether it’s dancing, music, boxing, bed, etc.? Like I have no understanding of what rhythm is in music, I'm not musically literate, not a dancer either, and I'm no musician as in idk how to play an instrument so you can imagine how lost confused I am in trying to figure out what rhythm is in boxing and other stuff. I haven't boxed before either but I want to be able to get and maintain rhythm overall in so many things so that once I do try boxing, I won't be so lost.
    And oh dear what more when it comes to learning how to fight WITHOUT rhythm this time?
