Here in Iowa, it is dry as Hell in winter, and humid as Heaven in summer. So I have my basement (Studio) set up with a 'dehumidifier' for Summer (Winter at 36 to 46 percent humidity in the basement doesn't seem to affect any of my guitars). I have used your method of "re-humidifying" an acoustic (1988 Kay) I keep upstairs by the couch (uncontrolled dry environment PERIOD), and it works like a charm. People; listen to this man...he knows what he's talking about. Thank you Randy!

Some people are just plain lazy Randy. Instead of scrolling through your video library or playlist to find videos teaching how to read and humidify an acoustic guitar..........they would much rather pester you, as they expect YOU to spend even more of YOUR time going through the hassle ( doing the same thing over & over IS a hassle ) of making & uploading YET ANOTHER instructional video, even though you already have several. Honestly, anyone THAT lazy, will surely never learn to play a guitar very well at all..........if they can't even click a few buttons to find the information they're looking for.
you wouldn't believe the messages I get every day on facebook asking me how to do stuff when all they'd have to do is search my videos, they obviously don't know they can do that lol I seriously now get more messages like that than I can read! thanks for your comment and for watching!
@@RandySchartiger Trust me Brother: THEY KNOW they can search your videos to find that information. They're not as dumb as they let on...........THEY'RE JUST LAZY. But even worse: many of em are asking you to repeat yourself over & over on purpose..........it's fun for them to make a pest of themselves. I know these things for a fact, because they pull this kind of shit all over youtube, facebook, etc.........and when a viewer like me calls them out in the comments...........now I'm "fair game" for the harassment. These are bored punks who love wreaking havoc.
