Quitea few years agoI had the good fortune to book this great musician at the Irish social club in Sheffield,it was very short notice, so we didnot get a full house, which cost me a lot of money. It was worth it. Altho Mr. Maguire was recovering from a serious illness he did a brilliant one man concert.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
This was played at the memorial service in Trinity College Dublin for the three Irish victims of the Air France Flight A447 Crash, one of whom was my cousin.
if that's the music they play in heaven hope i dont have to go there, i thaught heaven would be a happy place , this music doesn't exactly sound happy , great playing that it is ,and it's a great oul tune .wwhether its irish or scottish , which is the same thing really, but would ye want to listen to the likes of it for eternity ,not so sure

WOW from a Canadian! Must be the kind of music they play in heaven.
Very haunting melody, lovely and soothing to listen to. Played recently at my best friends funeral. thanks for a superb rendering.
sean maguire could play slowly with great feeling as well as play the fast reels so associated with him.
Ar fheabhas. Brilliant.
Literally: "I am in my sleep".
