It's honestly a good game to hop between characters since they are all pretty easy, you can just get a good feel of the general combo structures and as long as you stay between relatively similar character you get used to it really fast

Can I just say how happy I am Sajam is playing Belial? Not just because I like the character, but because it means we get to listen to Parade's Lust a lot in this video, which is a banger of a theme. So nice to have good music in a fighting game.
I told myself I would try a new character when Rising came out but Narmaya is still really fun and complex enough. ESPECIALLY with all the new system mechanics lol. Every character is so unique though, it's awesome

I was thinking the same you kept using your black hole when sajam was jumping a lot and you can do 2H, black hole into huge anti air combo damage or basic one for now would be let it sit into 5H,Medium,Heavy, 214L but later on you'll be doing simple but damaging stuff like after black hole just 5H, SSBA and stuff.
Ive started watching my recordings back and its really an eye opener for improvement lol. You can be your own annoying backseat gamer. Usually whenever I grab a snack.

The damage bonus will be applied. +1 if you land a clean hit super, +2 for the low health version, damage bonus will kick in 1st point gone is a freebie but 2 gone is (I don't remember exact numbers) something like 10-15% more damage taken, 3 is something like 30-50%. High level players seem to be mostly using them on Brave Counters
the rollout may be iffy (not an upgrade, full price, expensive dlc), but it's great that they didn't just let it die. always looked fun to me. traditional foundation with some cool core mechanics (that don't use meter). really does give it its own space in the genre.
I love these games but the DLC has always been stupid. Both stupid expensive and just stupid. No, I'm not spending five bucks for a background, thank you. Plus apparently before I got the first game they had some battle passes?

I've been saving and getting hyped for Tekken 8, i wanted to get into competitive FG, bought an arcade stick since i can't do anything with controllers and the stick is awesome for arcade 90s games, tried the demo and it barely runs at low on my PC my dreams are crushed 😭. Now I'm looking for a fighting game, SF6 looks good but i hate the new characters and the hip hop style, MK1 female characters are horrible (actually everyone looks terrible and lame but the girls are just terrible), GG strive is nice, KOF15 (i love KOF) is awesome but it's basically dead, killer instinct is basically dead, soul calibur 6 (love it) completely dead, DoA6 is trash i love DoA5, under night 2 I'm not sure, GBFVR looks amazing, everyone is beautiful and attractive, the attacks are amazing, great japanese voice actors. My fear about this game is that it might die off fast and I'll waste 80€, I'm poor and can't afford to be wasting money without thinking, i know T8 won't die off but i can't run it. I don't know what to do, I'm on the fence, I know that it's time for a new pc since I don't care about consoles i love the versatility of pc, but that'll take some time 😂, but yeah fighting games are too expensive for me at least.
Feel the same, played strive a lot but got pretty burnt out and didn't really get into any other fighting game but I've been havíng a ton of fun with granblue. Only got the free version cause 50 euros is a bit much but definitely buying it when it gets on sale.
The floatyness and slightly slower pace actually make the game more accessible to me. I like Strive a lot but this game is a lot easier for me to follow compared to Strive or other Guilty Gear entries. @@spicyluvsyou
I'm having a "who do I main?" crisis myself. I played the original for a month, but because of the online stopped before any DLC was even out, so there's so many more characters now. My big 3 candidates are Zeta (my original main), Belial, and Zooey, but I think there's also some chance I go with Yuel or Grimnr.
It's ridiculous and there's more to unlock and you can play whatever song you want. It's not locked to stage or character. It's so tough to go back to SF6 music lol
I don't know if this is the same as Beta 2, but Belial's 66L into 5M is an excellent frame trap. It'll mess up quite a few people if they don't know how to deal with it.
I pmayed Soriz during the beta and had Zeta for secondary. I have the free version and currently Soriz isn't in rotation but Zeta is and I may end up maining her, after almost dropping her. It just gotta click

I was like that too. I was set on cag then I toyed around with nier a little and fell in love and now maining her. For a pupper character she feels pretty intuitive. She snowballs people pretty quickly if you can set up too.

So if you have the game on English and your opponent has it on Japanese, your character will have their English voice and the opponent's will have their Japanese one. It's a bizarre practice I thought ArcSys wasn't doing anymore.
I think it's neat. I was thinking I hope riot does this and has like 6 more dubs. It's another step of customization beyond costume and color. Imagine playing Ken with a Brazilian dub for him.

Im new but Im playing her because shes cool and fun af lol. She is the most interesting sword character to me, with Katalina being 2nd. I was interested in the samurai girl but her gameplay feels more like a dagger character than a sword

Jealous that Sajam is able to find good/decent connections in this game, I'm having a much worse time in that regard than I do with Strive or SF6.
Strives online is just fked. Craps while nowhere near as bad as when Xbox Cross play dropped still disconnects you from stations often.
