Being on one's own is like the best ... I love it personally, you get to do whatever you like, whenever you like. You dont need to consider other people which I super love!
Ben, remember that schooled kids typically do nothing productive on weekends, break periods (Christmas, etc.), and during the summer. So...yeah. No worries there. ;)
Blade Runner is a classic, but, yeah, its pace wouldn't necessarily work with a first viewing while in bed, late at night 😅 But hey, Unschooled Weekend: Honest, Home Alone Edition!
question: do you do any other school other than math? I did math exclusively for a while and am now starting to get into other subjects. I do a few other subjects! I’m doing some essay writing, also some government related stuff! To answer your other question: Talking to people is in fact hard! I’ve met most of my friends through local unschooling groups and clubs. As far as finding people to help with my films, that’s a bit harder, but I mostly ask siblings and friends when I need help! What do you think of online High School? I'm thinking of doing it after my sophomore year is over. I can graduate early and go to community college after that.
I think online school is a great option. I have many people I know well who do it and it seems to work for them! I think the looser schedule and the ability to work at your own pace are both great! Good luck if you choose to do that!
