My 25-year-old Plymouth Voyager has about 400,000 mi on it and I still road trip it. I love that the junk yards are so full of these vans. More parts for me.
My grandpa had a blue 2007 Caravan SXT with 66K miles on it but he was adamant on getting a newer model. I was really upset to see it go since it was literally pristine! He said that he would give it to me but traded it in December 2021 for a 2014 Grand Caravan with get this, 75K miles! More miles and a crappier car! Dealer ripped him off and gave him $1500.
Remember folks, just cuz it’s newer doesn’t mean it’s better! We had an ‘06 T&C. Put 130k on it and the only problem it gave us was a leaky coolant pipe. Traded for a ‘10 GC. That thing was junk. Got it at 32k miles, went back at 77k miles. It had so many problems in just that short amount of time. Now all of these new cars are having issues left and right with all these screens and wires. Yea, no thanks.

LOL - if he can drive them - Some may get to 400 000 miles - but it takes a new transmission every 50 to 60 thousand miles to keep them going. All these are with bad transmissions
You’re going to see a lot of these in the junk yard because they’re incredibly popular most people that get these Chrysler and Dodge minivans beat the hell out of them. I knew somebody that had over 250,000 miles on a 2006 Chrysler Town & Country minivan and it was doing well until it got totaled in a rear accident. She bought it brand new and never had really any issues with it. it’s literally on how you take care of them.
Those look more like real minivans than the later models do. Every time I see one on the road, it’s not older than 2005 even though 96-04 look almost identical. The column shifter looks so much better than the dashboard mounted shifter in later years.
I just got rid of a Chrysler Town and country. Whole bunch of noises coming out from under the hood and when I looked things up there were complaints about this being normal. I got rid of it as fast as I could. Bought a 79 GMC Sierra grande 3500 two-wheel drive dually with a 350 crate engine and a 4-speed. It might look like a beater and use 10 times more gas but it's 10 times more valuable & reliable
Oof! The first one looks like it got torn open by a a can opener! Imagine if he said "And this Plymouth Voyager/Grand Voyager" but then I remembered Plymouth didn't live past 2001. :(
