That butterfly layering stamp is gorgeous but I would definitely not even attempt stamping it without the Misti or the Tim Holtz’s platform. A stamp that big almost never stamps perfect the first time. Thanks for the information about those foam pads in the Close to my Heart stamp sets. I had no idea they were to help you stamp. I thought it was just a backing material. I’ll have to try it out!
Yeah, it's a little trick they add into every stamp set! (: It really does help. Next time I use these layering stamps I'll bust out a real precision tool, I don't have MISTI but almost every other one! LOL!
I love those 3 layer backgrounds. I have 3 of these, but I have all 6 of the Christmas ones. Using them with my SH stamparatus is the easiest because you can line them up once and use them over and over because of the multiple plates. The TH platform works great with these as well. I have the fiskars original one but I never liked it because I couldn't get exact placement. I feel that might be the case with CC platforms too. Thanks for the review!!
@@VianneyCreates I almost placed an order today. Their carload items today are pretty awesome, but I have 1 each in the sets and don't feel like spending money on duplicates...lol
Vianney, this came out really pretty. What irritates me are those little knobs that move when you're pressing your stamp. The grid is nice for accuracy but those knobs make the stamp so unstable you have to be careful not to shake or it will move it off your mark. Thanks for sharing love. Blessings.
Thank you for your demonstration and review. I bought the 8X8 yesterday from the Crafter's Companion Warehouse Sale. I've been looking for a stamp platform and I thought this was like the others, hinged. I don't think I will like this one. Which is your favorite stamp platform of them all?
I was wondering about purchasing these grid stamping platforms, but I think after watching your video I prefer to just use my Misti. Thanks so much for sharing though, as it was helpful!
That turned out nice. I would totally use it. I have the old Fiskars with the orange feet and I dont like it either. I have seen these demonstrated on t.v. but I was afraid I would wiggle them to much and blur my stamping images. Have a wonderful day.
I have those stamping platforms and they work amazingly well with the foam pad. I’ve had mine for a few months, but recently dropped one twice over a period of a few weeks and broke off one of the legs 😩!
Good morning maybe if tape down the paper. I like it pretty and I have we are memory keepers stamps thins like that but I want a misit thank for sharing
That's so kind, thank you! I began my first channel over ten years ago bc I was tired of seeing "professional" reviews or ones only done by the companies themselves! LOL! I want to show what it's really like at home. (:
For sure, I have several stamping tools...I just used the platform for this because it obviously holds a stamp. With a simple press down, you got it. A good review should include using it in the way CC shows, they always tout using it for layering. I like them for use as large stampers, not for precision.

I have three of the Christmas ones, but could be convinced to get the rest...especially bc they are super cheap on CC every other day! LOL!! TY!!

They are very slippy. Maybe they could have put little grips on them...I guess I can! (:

I don't really have a favorite, they all have little issues. Right now, I'm using the second iteration of the WRMK precision press. It's ok.
@@VianneyCreates Thank you. I'm leaning towards Tim Holtz but keep coming back to Misti!!!

I would use these for the large sizes (great with larger stamps), but not so much for precision. Happy to help!!
Thought that platform had a magnetic base with it for precision.
That base part didn't come out until later, this is an older video.

Use a dry erase eraser to rub over the stamping plateform helps with pressing
This is an ancient video, LOL, I have discovered this trick since then. TYSM for the suggestion!

Good morning, Anastasia! Thank you!
I'm so glad you do all these reviews, Thank you for that

Great video love those stamps can you tell me if that’s store has a website
Pretty, i never ordered any of these stamps. Thanks
TY! They are great and they have them for like $8 here and there!!
i have tried them all and nothing has been able to out do the misti….
That's what I hear! They have a good thing going. (:
Thank you for the tutorial. Love the stamps.
TY! The stamps are lovely.
Your nails are so beautifully distracted....love them. Great review!! Tfs
LOL!! Thanks so much, I always fear the nails being distracting! (:
Great video, pretty layering stamps. TFS, stay blessed🌸🌺
Seems like the mat underneath will work better.
Absolutely. I didn't want to buy the foam mat because I already have two of them, but I broke down yesterday and added it to an order I was placing!!
So pretty thanks for sharing.
Thanks!
Beautiful! 💚
TY!

TY!!!!
Thank you for this review
TY!!
Sadly that's way too much work compared to using the Tim Holtz platform or the Misti.
There is, I was just trying these out for precision/layering. I bought them for size, though.
So very pretty ,Have a Beautiful Blessed day 🙂
Thanks so much, Shenna! You, too.
Those stamp blocks are an epic fail for layered stamps. Get a proper stamping platform 😉
