When something is so superb there is nothing to talk about. Close your eyes, listen and be happy you have the opportunity to hear it.

Best Mozart piano for my taste!....crisp, brisk tempos, not played too quiet and subdued in a spirit of false reverence for Wolfie, and very lyrical where needed.

I am only just beginning to appreciate Annie Fischer. A truly great pianist, and no mistake. This is an incredible performance. Magnificent.

She was a part of the old school, many years before all this piano gymnastic nowadays. What a treasure!

The most intense and dramatic 466 I've ever heard. Annie gets great support from Ervin Lukács. I have dozens of recordings of the 466, but this is the one I'd take from the burning house. I'm so grateful to the late Dan Miller for making me aware of this recording circa 1990.

Am intended to say that she was one of the greatest in those days who knew to make the genius within the Mozart last pianoconcerti sound like totally fit for the modern piano-forte-grande and with what richness of expression and intensity. The conductor and orchestra follow accordingly.

I believe all great Mozart players are influenced by Beethoven. This is an advantage for them but nevertheless an anachronism. Here is no exception. Wonderful performance!
