Yes! For thicker oils it makes it a lot easier to apply as it loosens the molecules and makes it much simple to apply.

When I do my twists they unravel? What do I need to do

You might not be twisting tight enough. If you're hair is thick like mine try doing smaller twists and make sure to use a solid creme-like product for better hold.
