i can't speak for everyone but i'm like a couple cm taller than alexa and i guess maybe just a little under 35kg. for me, it def sucks being this thin but as well for me i wouldn't say it's dangerous. like i've never had any health complications bc of it. i've had like vitamin/iron deficiencies but i'd put that down to my poor diet. overall i don't seem to gain weight easily at all. i can't speak for alexa obv but these are just my thoughts :^)
@@sky_tyong Alexa said she had a body fat percentage of 17 (which is not necessarily unsafe but insanely low for a woman) and about 65 percent muscle mass. There was literally no other way for her to lose weight than reducing muscle mass. Reducing muscle mass. Not even fat but muscle. Have you seen her dance? Then you know where this muscle mass is coming from. I don't know how much muscle mass you have but I would guess it's under 65 percent if you weight 35kg (which is absolutely fine) and you said yourself that your diet is shitty. Alexa has to train and perform a lot and that must be physically exhausting. Losing weight WOULD be dangerous for her. I don't think there are many woman that are 150cm tall, weight 35kg and are healthy at the same time. EDIT No hate btw, I'm just surprised there are actually women weighting 35kg and still feel healthy and it's not the result of an eating disorder. Hope you are doing fine with your body and truly are healthy.
I’m 1.60 cm and the “normal weight for this height is 40-45kg (i weight more but psh .. i just love food too much ) so I don’t think 35kg for 1.50 cm is dangerous at all 35-40kg is a normal weight for this height ! So no problem it’s just dangerous when it’s under this
she seems really well-spoken and level-headed and fun. and the fact that she's considering like, what words she uses and how her actions will come off to viewers is impressive, esp with how little media training trainees/idols seem to get. i hope her label does right by her and we get to see her debut, i feel like she could go far. i am on stanby edit: okay actually nvm i commented this before the mortician part came up and i'm not on stanby anymore, i already full stan. i love her
Yes, she is very circumspect yet comfortable in the way she expresses herself. However, I think this would be totally lost on a Korean audience who would need a translation for everything she says. Recognizing that so much gets lost in translation, I wonder if it's really going to be worth her while to make a go of it in the K-pop world. She may have a more sympathetic audience in the U.S.
@@gotwa229 her company isn't going to let her debut without being at least conversationally fluent in Korean. very few companies let artists who don't have basic Korean down debut because there's no chance for longevity in their career if they don't. granted, she won't come right out of the gate speaking on an academic level because languages take a lot of time and experience to master, but she has a measured quality about her and like I said is already thinking about the nuance of her word choice and actions, that I think even if she's a little lacking in vocabulary for the first few years, she'll still have that easy-going charisma in Korean that she has in English. although I will say i hope she debuts in a group, hopefully with at least one or two native Korean speakers, because it'll give her support to lean on in interviews and variety when she forgets a word or can't articulate herself or something. also because her chances are higher overall with a group because kpop still just isn't that open to new female soloists.
"Without being salty..." we love a considerate QUEEN!!! Sis really could've gone off about her screen time but instead was very composed and respectful
i really love how humble she is.... and she didnt even talk anything bad about produce despite how mnet treated her.. need to mention she seems to have a very humble and friendly personality.
I've always wondered about Korea's working laws. Do they not have unions and stuff to protect workers? I constantly hear about idols talking about long filming hours and it just seems ridiculous. How is it even legal for them to make these people stay on set for 24 hours?
Entertainment world is like that. I worked for 10-14 days nonstop some days doing 12-14h average and I'm not even an idol. Think about the STAFF that works there and comes 1 hour before the idols and 1 hour after.
Yeah, that have pretty sucky laws, and unions aren't a really big thing. Its really more of an American thing. And this all sucks because it lowkey goes against the human rights code the UN has.
The way the Korean networks produce these reality shows is really illogical and typical of the "bbali bbali" culture, as well as hard on everyone from the filming crew to the participants. Ratings and rankings are what matter the most and these companies who cannot even wait a reasonable amount of time for episodes to be properly edited thus allowing participants to segue back to their normal lives without the nightmare of living alongside an incomplete show that's being broadcasted almost in real time. The amount of greed these networks have to immediately recoup on their investment immediately is shocking. by comparison, reality shows produced in the U.S. by American networks have considerable lead time before a completed show hits the airwaves, usually a six month lag. So a show like Survivor will wrap after having been filmed on location from beginning to series finale, before it goes to editing where it will be released episodically usually six months later. By this time, all the participants have transitioned back to their normal lives and are free from the pressure of the competition and removed the production to literally look back retrospectively since their last performance was months ago. However, b/c mNet wanted to do a live performance and series finale which aired on their network on 31 August, 2018, there was literally just a one week lag between filming and broadcasting of the last half of the show after an initial series shoot that went from April-May of 2018 before the show's premiere aired on 15 June, 2018.

around 12:30 35 KILOS WTFFFFF :O Like seriously even if she's 1m50 that's insane. And dangerous.
i can't speak for everyone but i'm like a couple cm taller than alexa and i guess maybe just a little under 35kg. for me, it def sucks being this thin but as well for me i wouldn't say it's dangerous. like i've never had any health complications bc of it. i've had like vitamin/iron deficiencies but i'd put that down to my poor diet. overall i don't seem to gain weight easily at all. i can't speak for alexa obv but these are just my thoughts :^)
EDIT
No hate btw, I'm just surprised there are actually women weighting 35kg and still feel healthy and it's not the result of an eating disorder.
So no problem it’s just dangerous when it’s under this
@@juveniablack where did you get that information? According to BMI the healthy weight for someone who is 160cm is 45-65 kg...
JuveniaBlack OP actually that’s underweight...
she seems really well-spoken and level-headed and fun. and the fact that she's considering like, what words she uses and how her actions will come off to viewers is impressive, esp with how little media training trainees/idols seem to get. i hope her label does right by her and we get to see her debut, i feel like she could go far. i am on stanby
edit: okay actually nvm i commented this before the mortician part came up and i'm not on stanby anymore, i already full stan. i love her
Yes, she is very circumspect yet comfortable in the way she expresses herself.
@@cloudquest8006 only stupid companies let Korean idol debut without korean conversations skills

Think about the STAFF that works there and comes 1 hour before the idols and 1 hour after.
unfortunetly, korea has piss poor labour laws
Yeah, that have pretty sucky laws, and unions aren't a really big thing. Its really more of an American thing. And this all sucks because it lowkey goes against the human rights code the UN has.
zynbw um they do that in the US too. That’s just the music industry.
