Utility Schedule Options Setup - Honeywell RTH9580WF Thermostat

This video walks through the setup of the new Utility Schedule Options menu item for the Honeywell RTH9580WF. The feature allows you to program in your Utility Company's Rate requirements into the thermostat, so they are automatically handled on top of your regular temperature program.

Perhaps the feature is still evolving at Honeywell, so they haven't published any documentation. Hope this helps you set yours up.

Thanks for the video. Do you have an idea how to set the off peak temp?

I have the same question. I can’t figure out how to change my off peak temp. If I change the temp and click “permanent” it overrides the schedule and doesn’t change during on peak.

Have you had any issues with keeping this product connected to WiFi? From the reviews a lot of these products are malfunctioning after a year or so.
