You have to say “” SET “” Alexa set “ name” to off

Man I have been trying for months to figure out why it wasn't responding correctly. I kept asking it to set the thermostat and it would just keep it between certain temps. All because I named it "home Thermostat" in the app. I just read your comment and said "set HOME Thermostat" and it worked!

I’m searching for the same thing, I can only get cool or heat. As well I can’t change the modes in the Alexa app

I don’t have AC and my thermostat only has 2 wires for furnace
