C'est fou ! Mais qui peut acheter un château comme ça ? Tellement belles, toutes les chambres à coucher avec salon comme dans les beaux hôtels ! Et cette position en hauteur avec ce panorama dégagé de tous les côtés et cette vue au coucher de soleil ! Quelle magnifique image finale ! La situation évidemment aussi fait rêver, pile entre Florence et Sienne !

Me too! It would be lovely if anyone had multi-millions of dollars to afford the help and to pay off the castle right away! Being young enough to handle some of the work one's self and enjoy life in the home, with family get-togethers and parties and perhaps just for family or small Bed and Breakfast? This is truly the perfect home!

If I owned this castle, I would have to hire a barista, a chef, a squad of gardeners, a doctor, a nurse, a couple of chauffeurs, a mechanic, a handy man, a couple of butlers and a squad of housekeepers. I would still be lonely.

Seems taxation is the big reason. A castle that paid $3000 euros saw an increase to $75000 euros. Italy will destroy itself.

lol nice, try! When I was young there was a show on TV that I used to like to watch. Cannot remember the name now, but this man named Anthony would go to a home in each program shown and that is exactly what he did, was give a family one million $. It was randomly chosen and he somehow would get their number and house address and some investigation was done, but then he would just deliver to them unexpectedly and yet he was not supposed to be the man who had all the money just the one who was he, messenger and deliverer. Have no idea why I like the show so much but think it was the intrigue and dream of it happening to me one day. We know that one million is not quite enough to help anyone buy a castle and furnish it and pay for the help and keep it up. Times have changed and much more would be needed but this was a while ago and that was still big for the dreams of the day. But it has not yet... Keep waiting.
