On top of a rocky spur overlooking the beautiful landscape of Langhe (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), incredible late-19th-century Neogothic castle currently working as a hotel. Result of a masterful renovation carried out with great care and love by the current owners since the 1960s, the castle (with its annexes) includes nowadays a total of 25 bedrooms and a restaurant. The private wood (roughly 2.0 ha) is an excellent spot for truffles but a project to convert this plot of land into a Nebbiolo/Barolo vineyard has already been approved (as it was in the past).

Sulle cima di uno sperone roccioso che domina lo splendido paesaggio delle Langhe (sito patrimonio dell'UNESCO), incredibile castello neogotico di fine Ottocento, oggi adibito a struttura ricettiva. Frutto di una sapiente opera di ristrutturazione condotta con grande cura e amore dagli anni Sessanta, il castello (assieme agli annessi) ospita oggi un totale di 25 camere e un ristorante. Il bosco privato (circa 2,0 ha) è un terreno ottimo per il tartufo ma è già stato approvato un progetto per la riconversione di questo appezzamento in vigneto Nebbiolo da Barolo (come era in passato).

Ask any child to draw or describe a fairytale castle and it will be very similar to this breathtaking castle. The only thing missing was a Prince and Princess on a white stallion (or a Fiat 500). Well done Danilo and team Romolini !

I love old buildings like that one. They are works of art
in themselves. All of those painted ceilings and carved
fireplace mantels are incredible. People in those days
had real talent. Now we get to enjoy the gift of beauty

Great job as usual Danilo. Not too fond of this castle, but you did a magnificent job of showing it.
Same feeling ... there were some nice features for sure, but it didn't had that WOW factor on me. I thought it was missing some things, for sure a swimming pool ... and I didn't like all that cement in front and next to the castle, to give some examples. I did like the fact you could sit in that little tower on your balcony :) But hey, different taste makes the world exciting.

If I were to buy it and convert it to a private residence, I’d see if I could bump out the ceiling in the dining area of the modern part and replace the squared-off windows on that side with intersecting gothic tracery windows, turning that dining area into a great hall. Then I’d convert the current owner’s residence into staff quarters, and remove things like the reception desk. It’d be a challenge making it into a residence again, but it’d certainly be a fun one.

... I’m in a bad rush today ... so, all I’m going to say is ... impressive building with beautiful and intricate brickwork craftsmanship 😍 loads of potential for a buyer willing to spend “a few” (🤣) euros to address some interior deco issues and, indeed, add a fancy spa area.
