  • One day my Wolverine 8mm Pro Digitizer wouldn't start. When I powered it on it would just reboot and wouldn't bring up the menu options.
I figured it was a problem with the motor. So I opened it up and unplugged the motor. Sure enough it started right up.
I don't use the motor to pull the film since it causes the film to jitter.

Hi! I need some help, hope you'll know what to do... my Wolverine won't start either, I've worked with it for a whole year, 500+ files and today it just didn't start at all, I hold the power button and nothing happens, any idea about how to solve this issue?

The issue I had was with the reel motor, so I just disconnected it

Thank you! How did you figure out it was the take up reel?

Thanks for this, same problem here. This worked. Just let the film run into a bucket then rewind it later. What do you want for $400 right?
