Make sure to leave a hot take about god of war for my next video! Also thank you guys so much for 4000 SUBS. I'M THE HAPPIEST PERSON ALIVE
Congrats Bro! And a video about "teases for GOW Ragnarök in GOW 4 (2018)" will be awesome!
YOU DESERVE ALL OF IT!!! 😃 Actually one of my favorite RUclipsrs!
I would love to see you playing GOW RAGNAROK (do it pls)
It's just the beginning.. OF A GREAT JOURNEY.
Well earned Brother👍👑
That cerberus breeder fight was easily the hardest fight in my no upgrade run. No boss comes close to that fight, especially when the satyrs spawn. Better hope the gorgon summon hits them both🤣
I was playing earlier This exact level got smoked 3 times back to back😮💨
@@joejones8454 only 3?
Rookie numbers
Did you complete it no upgrade on the hardest difficulty?
@@Charly_dvorak yes
imagine completing it without gorgons upgrade on chaos mode... yeah it hurts
The claws of Hades are one of my top 3 weapons in the series even though most people don't touch them. The triangle combos on those things are just beautiful and the animations are cooler than the blades in my opinion. The L1 circle also keeps your combo meter going which is great for those red orbs.
That's GOW 3. This is about GOW.
@@jagger198 its about the entire franchise lol. Did you watch the video?
I almost never used them, but if I ever played the game again, I would like to use the Hades claws and the Haphaestus electrical things, because I almost never used them.
I just put all my orbs into the main blades and then once I got the Nemean Cestuses, those (since I knew I’d need them for Skorpius, who I was stuck at on the PS3 version).
So basically I would upgrade the Hades claws last, but I would like to use them more if I ever played again. I just felt incompetent with them lol.
The third phase of Zeus bossfight in gow 3 (when you're inside Gaia) is living hell at chaos difficulty. Got a bit surprised you didn't mention him.
Nah, he's really not that hard :D
You just need to parry the clone move its even gets boring after you learn it imo
alright then, let's make it a hot take; Zeus is the hardest boss in gow 3. Let's see what others think
@@AliAli-bp1br You forgot about that random Cerberus + Satyr combo
@@itsyvonblitz6819 I didn't find him that much hard to beat even though I played it on chaos mode. Yall just trippin about that cerberus breeder. You just need to take out the cerberus first and then, when the time is right, press circle at one of the satyr and then the same thing again, done.
Just discovered your channel, it's a jem!!
Thank you so much!
Yes!! I agree!
Same

Hot Take: Theseus on Titan mode in GOW 2 is the hardest boss in the franchise lol
I was confused on who the number one spot was going to be, then you said what it was and I immediately agreed with you. That fight took me so long to beat on the hardest difficulty.
That Cerberus Breeder boss fight made me love the Blades of Exile. During my trial with the Very Hard difficulty of God of War 3, I upgraded every weapon except for the Blades. They were just too expensive to max out. But making it to the Cerberus, the magic for it was just too freaking good! I had to go to a previous save and pour all of my red orbs into maxing out the Blades and it made it so much easier. Still freaking hard as hell but at least more manageable.
You mean blades of exile
Hype for GOW Ragnarök: 📈📈📈
Yeeeeee
6:34 He Punched With Axe💀😂👍⚡🔥
Well here's a hot take, i loved the rpg system in gow 2018 and i liked how you had to prepare before engaging in a fight rather than previous games pure combat, i think this system has more depth and more room for different play styles, though i wish we had tankier armor sets if it makes any sense, i prefer playing offensively myself but in high tiers sometimes you need to take things slow
On my first playthrough that rpg system was so immersion breaking that every 15 minutes you progress you stand like 20 minutes scrolling through armor statistics and runic attacks. Which I do not like, its not that complicated if you replay the game several times, but it is still very hard to navigate its menus.
@@caktustumbleweed yeah not as hot as i thought but still some people hated it which i find weird, i couldn't re play gow 3 since it got bland and boring not having anything new to achieve but gow 2018 gave you a purpose to fight for each time you loaded up the game, that's what i like about it
@@caktustumbleweed in the combat department i agree but I don't feel the same joy that collecting new armors and enchantments gives me, guess im a rpg nerd after all lol
@@caktustumbleweed master of both worlds, perfectly balanced as all things should be
Kratos doesn't prepare he just moves on to the next enemy. I just loved in the original god of war games the feeling of finishing the last enemy of a hard encounter and thinking "Fuck yeah. Who is next?"
Hot takes:
1. GOW3 perfected the old combat system, while GOW4 had more flaws in the new one.
2. GOW4 has the best story in the whole series.
3. The temple of pandora part of GOW1 is kinda boring. Kinda.
4. GOW4 RPG elements are really good. I also like having multiple armor set options (don't know why people whining about them).
5. Hardest difficulty in GOW4 is poorly designed. I feel like the game really promotes ranged combat since enemeis can "buff" making them almost unstaggerable (+ no mana but cooldowns for runic attacks making slow gameplay all the more worth it). Also there is a big difficulty spike right at the very beggining when you have limited ways to deal with enemies, which drops off later. Old GOW games required combo knowledge, fast decision making, battle tactics, priority targeting and resource managment while I feel like the best approach in GOW4 is to "take it slow" (not always the case, but at least in many situations). I'm currently in the middle of my GMGOW run, so this opinion might change.
6. We need more FOV in Ragnarok. And a jump button.
Tell me if you agree/disagree with any of my hot takes, I really love discusing about these games :D
Also congrats for the 4k man, keep up the great content
Hot take: Spear of Destiny > Barbarian Hammer
You thought..
Well yeah anything is better than barbarian hammer that shit is ass
If you play all in hardest, ckearly cerberus is HARDEST! I knew this would come. I mastered sigrun so well I always destroy her with challenges. Also I never tried Zeus on hardest since I am stuck in that DOG! I do not know how hard it is but this list is definitely accurate.
Hot take: The trolls were fun, all of them even with them being repetitive (GOW4 obviously). Hot take 2: Poseidon from GOW3 was the most visually fascinating and entertaining boss fight in GOW franchise.
Not the troll in hel
Should I leave THAT hot God of War take I have, Zesty? ;)
Don't even leave it i know what it is and i will include this comment in the video 😈 just wait
@@ExtremeGameplays1 uh oh... I bouta get wrecked...
@@ExtremeGameplays1 also, I got more hot takes if you'd like lol
@@MidChronicler drop a hot take every video :D
That final stage of the zeus fight (gaia stage) was incredibly hard when I first played god of war 3. Sure I played on hard difficulty but even then I struggled more than any other fight (No I DON'T want to play on easy, I'm playing on hard ffs). I was stupid for a few reasons. First I thought the 2D fight stage was quite easy so arrogant as I was I wasted my rage of sparta. When we moved to the next stage I wasted my magic and when the gaia stage fight began I again thought zeus was easy and predictable. Sure he hit hard but I could anticipate his moves. Then his clones started appearing which took the whole predictability away and that mf kept regenerating when I was dealing with his clones. I desperately needed the spartan army but I only had magic for one. I had generated some spartan rage but using it in desperate moments was almost worse since I would get hit and die by zeus.
I was using the blades of exile as I believed it was the most versatile weapon with the highest dps and best range (which is true). My understanding of the weapons were that the fists were for big enemies to give out the most damage and some single target stun. The whip is great for crowd control, is the fastest weapon in the game, and is great at stunning many enemies. However I found that the damage can be lacking for powerful enemies. The claws of hades was a weapon I didn't find a lot of use for (except for some sick L1-X weapon switching combos). Anyway so I though that blades were best against zeus, best range, best dps, but after all the failures I tried something else. I tried the nemean cestus with poor results, although I found that it could take out his clone quickly. So first I slapped zeus with the blades and when his clone appeared I punched him gone. It worked well until the army of zeus clones appeared. The blades were not enough for them, it didn't stun them and with their devastating attacks I had to play defensively. Not good when zeus started regenerating.
Then I considered the whip. A weapon I had dismissed for being to weak against zeus and his army. Boy was I wrong. It decimated the clones and stunned them, even the main zeus. Then, in one try I was battling the clones close to the heart of Gaia and did the indefinate air spin move and I saw that I got health back from the heart. So now I positioned myself close to the heart and whenever zeus wanted health I took it from him. The whip kept the clones under stun and eventually I killed that mf. I was almost as pissed at zeus as kratos himself. You can imagine later on while punching zeus the screen was red for a long time before I stopped.
My fav boss in the gow series is the colossus of rhodes, I replay gow2 just to play that boss.
It a lot of fun!
@@ExtremeGameplays1 absolutely
1:22 i just notice those peoples on bridge watching kratos fighting ares
0:57 and look at you now, beating that shit with no upgrades, we are all proud of your acending
Ares god of war 1 is number 1 for me he got me shivering with the clone Kratos and that healing fight but also since god of war 1 is pretty old
And a hot take of mine are the Nemean Cestus weapon is extremely overrated I rarely use them in battle if I’m not forced to and also the Nemesis Whip are really cheap and lazy weapon and a straight rip off of the blades of chaos. It should have just been for the puzzles not at a weapon. I would say the same thing to Hade’s weapon too but it was in god of war 2 in a cutscene and it’s different enough to feel like it’s own weapon I like using them a lot
God of war 4 combat is very fun and fluid in my opinion unlike what some other people say like underthemayo
Underthemayo doesn't say the combat is not fun or fluid. He just doesn't like that the game gives you no reason to play flashy and use any moves other than the magic attacks (no combo meter, resource management)
Those runic canceling is mind blowing
The controls are tight and you can do risky and flashy combo plays (even without a jump button, fixed camera, restricted character movement) underthemayos problem is that there is no rewarding for you to do that stuff.
HOW DO YOU ONLY HAVE SO LITTLE SUBS U DESERVE WAY MORE
I DON'T KNOW MAN THANK YOU
another masterpiece ma man the editing the idea everything is so good keep it up
I love how 4 of these are from the newer god of war games, but the best is from the old ones. Shows how good all of the god of war games are (Greek and Norse).
about weapons i rly love the hades claws from gow 3 i dont know if anyone else likes them as much because as soon as i get them alsmost never change thhem
God of war 3, the scorpion fight. You just stand under its legs when it slams its tail, and it won’t hit you. But without question, the hardest boss on max difficulty is the Cerberus with the satyrs. Pure frustration. Lol
The scorpion isn't really all that easy. Has a lot of delayed attacks
Ok I was going to be mad but I remember yelling at my screen "I would rather fight Sigrun again" while doing the cerburus fight, and I haven't even beat Sigmund yet
Hot take God of war ascension has the best Combat combat of any of God of war game. God of war four is not included because, it does not have the same formula as the past god of war games.
The combate system in gow 4 is the best combat system in all of the series
RPG system in gow is underated and a lot of fun
This will haunt me to the end of my days
Why did Zesty do me like that😭
And I'm finally back to watch your videos!
Really cool video!
At one point i just did not care the story of god of war games and played them just for combat and the brutality
Ascension was the best at the combat and still is
Everything changed when i played dad of boy the story was the best combat was amazing and i finally went to play the older ones and they were awesome except for ascension
My Favorite Boss fight is either Ares from GOW 1 or The 2 Sister from GOW 2.
2 sisters in gow2 go wild bro
God of war 1 when you have to climb the steps of Hades with the blades on that can turn anyone insane
Hot take: GOW 4 is no where near as good as previous ones in any way.
I heckin miss the cinematic zoom outs like in GOW2
I was able to beat fire cerberus on hard mode claws of hades only and it was kinda difficult but the real thing I am scared of is this boss on chaos mode
Cerberus on Chaos mode was by far the hardest part of the game ! And it comes right after the flying section that you have to perform perfectly to prevent having some missing health for the fight....
My hot take: the blade of Olympus
Mode in gow 3 is trash..
Thx by the way my fellow gow fan for asking for and accepting our comments, much needed nowadays..
Hades’ dog is harder than Hades himself
Kratos created 2 timelines. Time line he dies after Zeus' betrayal in GOW and the fates of all pantheons play out as they do in actual history. Time-line B after Kratos traveled back in time and brought the Titans into the present. He changed the fate of all pantheons and time itself is using in as a vanguard of the apocalypse to correct itself.
I think you’re absolutely clinically insane not having sigrun at #1
Great video tho, love the editing
U faught the Cerberus?
My two favourite bosses gotta be Hades and sisters of fate
Sisters of fate is the best PERIOD
I struggled on the hades bossfight on the hardest difficulty but is was super rewarding when you learn his attacks and finally kill him.
@@atanasvfx4449 claws of hades is just🤌
Honestly we can agree that the Seders make the Cerberus boss fight much harder
Hot take: GOW1 IS EFFORTLESSLY THE BEST GAME IN THE SERIES; the map (omfg Pandora’s Temple!), the music (PREGNANT JESUS), and (Minecraft porn): the gameplay. Also the concept, with this whole “the Gods help you throughout the game” thing! I love the first game so much I literally hold the world record for speedrunning it! 🤣 see my second video.
0:58:58 you should do a walkthrough my man. That would be amazing! To be honest i still do not believe it for some reason
Gow 1 is goat
It provides the best sense of adventure in the series
@@atanasvfx4449 Thank you! And, I can’t blame you since I (FUCK 😔) didn’t record anything.
@@harshajain2776 Absolutely!
Traj holds the world record
Congrats on the 4k subs bro really hope the best for this channel💙
4:46 Honestly for me Cerberus took like 1 hour with gorgon strategy on choas and it took my sanity to beat sigrun for the first on hardest difficulty (9hrs)(but i think Cerberus became ez for me because my skills skyrockted with a controller while trying to defeat sigrun i think that's why berserker king also took me like 5 tries in gmgow+)
The verengernd breeder fight. Oh my lord…. This fight alone made me play gow 3 only 2 times on chaos mode. Not even the endurance run in gow2 is like this.
As for my unusual opinion. I don't understand the claws of Hades from GOW3. It is just like the blades of chaos, differences in moveset is minimal. And the thing I do not understand in claws of hades. The souls summon. How should I know what soul is doing. For example: what is the differences between cerberus, cyclop and chimera souls. I do not understand. Maybe you can explain in comments. Just, please. It's only my opinion that CAN change. If you can convince me.
That cerberus is not a boss fight
But IT is hardest!
Imma say it Baldur 2 color code works only because both the leviathan axe and blades of chaos are absolutely perfect weapons.
Although I will say if there was a way to force him to switch that would be pretty epic ngl wiz.
I would say that badur 2 is not hard boss. It is just annoying and it drags for way too long. Baldur 2 is just a bad crafted, annoying, unjugglelable fight. Not so hard in general. BTW Ares second faze and Sigrun to me are the most fun :)
Congrats for the 4k subs zesty!!!
I agree with everything.
it's so annoying when the little goons in phase 2 keep grabing on to you .
You see, you can't make a "hard God Of War bosses" video without putting Balfour in it, otherwise you'll be considered a Gow2018 hater and unaccepting of the franchise's decision to move forward
I meant Baldur😭, the fuck is this Balfour guy💀
@@talphazero1036 Well I am kinda of GOW 2018 hater so... Its a good game but I prefer the originals much more. I am kinda bored to get in depth in that Topic. In short combat, platforming, enemy variety, puzzle elements, artstyle, and so much more are on top in the old GOW games
Well yeah it does lean into the annoying Territory when it comes to baldur 2 but. Annoyance is still a difficulty :D fuck that boss
When does Satyrs show up at the Cerberus fight I cry every time
Something I recommend is to use fear Kratos on easy difficulty and to use almost all of the items then the game is really easy to beat
I really like the different shields so make a video top 5 or 10 most unique shields in god of war
Thanks for the suggestion i might make one :)
100% AGREE!! on #1 i was very frustrated i spent hours trying to pass it only to pass it on my first try the next day 😑
Skorpius is a nightmare. Ares definitely was. Zeus. I’m stuck on Persephone personally on Hard. She kills in like 3 fricking hits on Hard!
I was stuck on Skorpius for months.
I couldn't agree more with you on Cerberus. He is one of the most frustating bosses ever. On normal he is easy like a random enemy, but on hard he is broken. I fight my way through the game, but couldn't defeat this monster. I hate him!!! Just two levels before the ending, but he stole my platinum trophy 😢
what about that one guy on a boat in god of war chains of olympus? i usually breeze trough the gow games but he actually killed me multiple times
I laughed my ass off when i saw a number one boss, because i remember how much time i spent struggling with him every time, so i kinda agree, but i never considered him a boss, so it felt kinda "this mf is SO annoying, that i proclaim him THE boss, THE HARDEST boss ever, fuck him"
To me nothing will ever be harder than GOW2’s double cerberus breeder room
I couldn't complete that part on titan mode
Cerberus would keep multipling themselves
I had to restart the game from zero and max out euryale's head so I could turned them into stone all at once lol
didnt fight sigrun but man ares on hardest difficulty is mind numbing during the clone phase
Hot take I like GOW 2 story and hype more than GOW 2018. Now don't get me wrong GOW 2018 is an amazing story, but it doesn't live up to the hype GOW2 Story created, like I remember playing GOW2 and thinking "What the hell, they just ended this game at a cliffhanged...he is going to take on entire olympus. And then the shot of Kratos climbing the mountain with all the gods waiting for him at the Summit" In my opinion nothing beats that hype. I was hyped at the end of GOW 2018 but not as comparable to GOW2. When GOW3 Dropped man it delivered on that.
I thought this dog is easy, but I'm a noob, but it turns out the opposite when I know that most of the gow 3 players suffer from it, especially me
I just fucking fought this fu..ing hades Cerbus breeder. Like it was literally by far the boss fight where I died the most (just on normal).
The game even asked me if I wanted to lower my difficulty too easy, but nah I ain’t a bitch😤😂.
And after two more rounds I finally beat him by focusing this stupid dog.
i was expecting zeus from 3 game to be somewhere in the top 5.
I found the scorpius boss really easy to beat, the boss I really struggled on was the Poseidon boss from the beginning of god of war 3 cuz I wasn't used to the game at that point
No 1 is still the hardest boss in the entire series He is bigger than the rest got exploding Dogs and the satyrs who parries your parries and the Cereberus got unlockable attacks
Yup
Bro the hardest boss fight was aphrodite and the best weapon is the Blade of olympus
😂
I disagree The Spartan Women are much "HARDER"
Come on y'all. We all know the gow2 one is the hardest
@@ExtremeGameplays1 Jacuzzi makes stuff harder but still nothing to 9 girls at the same time
I agree with number one took me 1 whole fuck^ing month to beat him in chaos mode, worst experience ever in the series
I really like the Scorpio’s boss fight in god of war but everyone hates.
What you think who's the most powerfull boss in God of war saga
I'm surprised Baldur made it on the list.
I don't know if subsequent remasters are different, but in the original GoW3, I had trouble dodging in the correct direction with Nemean Cestus, making Skorpius that much worse.
The Cerberus Breeder was poorly designed. The devs abused the breeding capability to the point where you have no choice but to kick dogs the entire time.
That ascension kraken boss fight the the flying sister was quite hard
Persephone is so underrated man
Hardest are definitly in 2018 and ragnarok because something like sigrun and gná is a bull*hit bosses
But IT was secret bossfight so maybe theseus and ares were hardest
Kratos dying and Atreus taking the throne makes sense and I would be fine with it
If that happens I will never touch the God of War Franchise again and I have played every single God of War Game up until now. But its very unlikely that it will happen as confirmed by Cory Balrog and David Gaffe. They even mentioned that doing sh*t like that would be a disney move and it will real affect the franchise.
"KRATOS IS IMMORTAL" cory said. Don't be a fool PLEASE
hot take: blades of chaos fire effect in god of war 4 are worse then other god of war games it’s realistic unlike the other games were it is energy / magical / light
a boss everyone hates but i like: Skorpius 😢
a weapon everyone likes but i hate: nemesis whip 😢
Hot take we need god of war to go back to the hack and slash genre it fitted the epic story way more then the action rpg we have now.
I agree so much with number 1 he killed me 10 times on (hard)
Hot take:
I cant replay god of war 4
its an amazing game but part of what makes the old one's repayable is the are not 20 hours long
i replayd the old games dozens of times but i haven't replaced 2018 once
Best weapon in God of war 3 imo ranked from top to low
Blades of Athena 9/10
Blades of Exile 8.5/10
Nemean cestus 8/10
Nemesis whip 7/10
Claws of Hades 5.5/10
Useful extras
Hermes Boot
Bow of Apollo
Head of helios
Beating Sigrun on gmgow+ definitely left a mark on my sanity
Number one cought me off guard
I'll be honest I've never had any issue with scorpion boi but holy shit is the ceberus hard
The Scorpion and The Cerberus were REALLY ANNOYING FOR ME.
it's 2:30 in my country ( 🇮🇳 ) but i will still watch this video because you play stylishly
And thank you sir for all this :)
Bro didn't count challenges in gow 3 but if he did... FEAR KRATOS boi that was harddd
Sigrun - 30 or more times on normal diff
Cerberus - max 5 times on hard diff
that's my experience with these guys, Sigrun is way harder imo
If that’s the case isn’t the Cerberus breeder from god of war one a boss if that’s the case then we’re gonna have to make a new list
Which cerberus breeder from 2 ? You mean the blue one ? Cuz the game does consider him a boss
No god of war 1 I am talking about that one
I actually didn't like going through alfheim in God of War however, I absolutely loved the flame realm(couldn't remember the name) and I also think Kratos is holding back for the entire game or till he tells his son he's a God
Musphelheim
In not sure if it's a hot take but I think it's too hard like the annoying kinda hard I was in this one place in Gof 1 were I was supposed to walk on a wire I think (haven't touched it in a while) and if you fall down you're at the beginning of the level again
I really liked the god of death fight in god of war ghost of spartan but it looks like nobody care about him
Sigurn is easy she is copy and paste it took me 2-3 attempts on gmgow
ares is the hardest on the hardest diff , it took me 2 weeks and 2 days and 2-6 hours each day
Pandora's Guardian Minotaur 7 hours on hardest diff
zeus 6 hours
Did this guy rate that One Cerberus from God of war 3 harder than Sigrun?
i think learning a bosses dance and it being super easy after is a sign of a good boss. like for example midir in ds3. he becomes a joke after learning him like sigrun. thats good because it means the boss is 100% fair , proof being someone did a 1 ar run on midir that took 15 hours on ng+7. a fight that rewards you by being piss easy after learning it is what a good boss fight is for me
the only proplem i have with sigrun is the axe is much more effective for the fight and the blades of chaos are kinda meh in the fight
@@caktustumbleweed idk gow 3 zeus , hades were pretty good. i think they are very able to do good bosses with the older games system.
i get what you mean with the older gows being broken. you are basicly able to do what you want with all the options you have and cheese some parts of the game but that doesent mean theres no good dances with the bosses you know... you have to dance with hades and zeus and hades is my personolay fav in the series
@@caktustumbleweed true about the square traingle thing for hades. you can only do a few things on hades and some other bosses which makes it not have that much replayability . you could do some cool shit on zeus though
And that is a great thing! When a boss becomes this dance where you know how to dodge eveyrthing and counter and stuff. I love sigrun! It's my third favorite boss in the whole franchise!
I mean the old bosses kinda did have something going for them. I mean yeah sure maybe not completely combat but some really had cool ways to take them out that did REQUIRE skill
My hot take? God of War, the original God of War. The game that started it all. Is a borderline unplayable, janky, frustrating and ridiculous mess.
I am SHOCKED that this game got a sequel with how badly the original game has aged. Thankfully, every single other game improved on just about everything the original failed at.
Damn, Zeus was harder for me in gow 3
When I played GOW3 i almost didnt even use the blades from Hades (sorry forgot their name), just one time, when I was at Hades Cerberus Breeder. I used the soul of the medusa to turn those fucking goats to stone. Fuck how hard it was on the hardest difficulty. I loved it.
I did that in god of war 2 lol
I like Trolls, they are good Minibosses.
