Completely new at crocheting. Went into Micheals and saw this pattern and was like," yeah I can totally do this..." 🥴 Thank Goodness I found you! This was EXTREMELY easy to follow and I finished my first EVER crochet pattern because of you...I have learned so much. Thank you!
Very pretty. I love the ruffles. Not so lacy it's just a decorative shawl, and not so heavy it's uncomfortable for spring and summer, especially since Puget Sound is generally cooler in summer than much of the USA. Thanks Michael
If you continue the ruffle rows and stop on an odd one, could this shawl be made larger? I’m kinda tall and I like this pattern-in fact, I’m actually about to finish the lower ruffle-but when I make shawls I practically have to make blanket shawls to wrap around myself. Otherwise, the tips of most shawl patterns just barely come over my shoulders. Thanks.
I added to the ruffled rows and it did help make it somewhat larger, but it wasn’t nearly as big as I’d’ve liked it to be. I’m wondering if I double the rows from 34 to 68 if the stitch count would still work out for the subsequent ruffled rows. Any thoughts? Thanks.
I usually follow the diagram when I do the tutorials. I didn't notice that as I followed the diagram. I'm unsure. Trust the diagram. That's my suggestion.
@@TheCrochetCrowd That was my instinct as well. But someone who just prints out the pattern and does not follow the diagram or the video might be puzzled. Hope Yarn inspirations edits it.

Love your videos! Thank you for sharing. My "to-do" list keeps growing exponentially. :)
Looks like a winner. I might try it for my daughter. Thanks cutie Mikey!
I'm crocheting this right now working on the upper ruffle
I saw two different women in two different black and white episodes of Maigret (1960's) I think they were in the last season. It was in a solid color.
Gracias por los subtítulos en español!!! Sus explicaciones para mi perfectas. Gracias 😘🇲🇽⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cool pattern! So retro 🤩
Thank you Mikey💙
Thanks Mikey!
Very cute.
So pretty. Can this be done in a rectangular shawl? I prefer them over the triangle.

Yeah, I think that is possible. Try it.

Not this coming after I struggled my way through it and finished it T_T
Why does the pattern in row 3 call for 5 sc in part of the row but the diagram and the video does not mention it. Is this an error in the pattern?

What does he mean by “row 2 is the right side?” How can you tell?
Means RS is the side that people will see when you wear it. Mark it with a stitch marker as it matters for the future.
