Hello from Trish in Tasmania, Aust. Just followed your tutorial and I am amazed how very easy you explained the steps. Oh to have your talent! I am still working on the casing and don't quite know why I'm struggling so will re-watch until I get it. I'm also looking forward to watching the twin needle video. I am so grateful...all my thanks Trish
They still sell tracing paper. My mom never used it and I never tried it. What do you like about it? My mom used tailor tacks or pins to mark darts and a shallow snip to mark notches. I like this marking method too for the darts.
@@janicekennedy7015 Me too. I went from sewing to quilting to nothing. I'm 60 and learned from Mom. Hope to learn to fit now and get back into it. Sometimes a sewing or quilting term is so far back in memory I only recognize the word. Have a good day.
You are amazing. Love these videos
You have a very gentle voice and are easy to listen to. Thanks for finding a cute pattern!
Thanks for explaining everything so well. I learned a lot.
Love how you fully explain every step. Really makes it easier for me to do this project.
I love your instructions, always so easy to follow! Thank you

Hi Trish. Nice to hear from you from so far away. Glad the tutorial is helping your. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Nice clear instructions but I would have liked to see the finished garment.
Thank you for been so patient. Can you show us (beginners) how to make simple tank tops? Thank you ☺️
A shot of the finished product would be nice.
So easy to understand her.
Jeepers your husband made me prescribe he’s so funny
How can you make a pattern, bigger. Say a size 26.
What if I am a size 3 or 4? Sizes and fabric differences.
Don’t they use tracing paper anymore? I must be old.

Carol G. I guess it’s just because that’s how I learned in school. I only make quilts now so I don’t even know if I have my old tracing wheel any more
