Sewed a toddler twirly skirt in 30 minutes! :D She loves it and the KNIT elastic was much better than the old random elastic I had used last attempt. Definitely get the knit, no-fold stuff! Thanks, Dana!

I have to fully agree with all of the positive comments. I am a newby to the sewing machine and had to make a skirt in short time. I surveyed a number of tutorials on youtube and happened upon this. What an answer to prayer. Not only did you make it look easy but you actually made it simple with ample instructions. I even got adventurous and combined a 2nd tutorial where you showed how to add a pocket and whatayou know....I sewed my first ever garment and with a pocket. YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!

This is my go to tutorial when I want a simple skirt. Just made a single layer out of jersey knit and double layer out of pink and white spot and I used a narrow ribbon for my hems instead of bias. Thank you Dana 😊

Dana, your channel has been the best! I’m very new to sewing, and now I’ve made five little skirts for my six year old granddaughter! Three circle skirts, one Circle skirt with an extra layer, and a simple skirt with an extra layer. Then, I used the scraps to make matching scrunchies after watching your tutorial on making those!
