I was able to mane an absolutely adorable two layer skirt with a matching diaper cover for my 13 month old daughter for her first cruise. Thank you!! Can't wait to decided what to make next!!!

I have to fully agree with all of the positive comments. I am a newby to the sewing machine and had to make a skirt in short time. I surveyed a number of tutorials on youtube and happened upon this. What an answer to prayer. Not only did you make it look easy but you actually made it simple with ample instructions. I even got adventurous and combined a 2nd tutorial where you showed how to add a pocket and whatayou know....I sewed my first ever garment and with a pocket. YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!

@@MADEEveryday Hello Dana. Seeing that the fabric has one seam only, you should put it to the center back of the skirt. ❤❤❤ It's better for balance and more uniform. Thanks for sharing this simplicity of a skirt. Many beginners will be very happy to learn. Blessings to you in the future. ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😊

Ok Dana you're amazing! You have taught me so much in just one night. I feel lucky to have watched these videos and learned from you, cos you are the best!! I made the little zipper pouch from your tutorial on the spur of the moment as I was following along with you, and your affable, friendly instructions and clear, un-intimidating yet extremely skillful way of explaining things was just perfect. Watching your videos, I can understand things that I have taken a long time to learn otherwise. Bless your heart, you've really helped me!

I'm so glad I found this video! there are many, many, many sewing videos on RUclips but so far they've all either been way too boring or too long or just miserable to watch, I almost gave up.... but you are precise, to the point, upbeat and informative... thank you!!!
