I have to fully agree with all of the positive comments. I am a newby to the sewing machine and had to make a skirt in short time. I surveyed a number of tutorials on youtube and happened upon this. What an answer to prayer. Not only did you make it look easy but you actually made it simple with ample instructions. I even got adventurous and combined a 2nd tutorial where you showed how to add a pocket and whatayou know....I sewed my first ever garment and with a pocket. YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!

Just finished the two layer skirt for the neighbor girl. So cute! She loved it-I loved making it as well. Thank you so much for this video! I had never made a two layer skirt so I learned something new-Also never used the bias tape for the hem. It really did make the skirt POP! Empowered:}

Sewed a toddler twirly skirt in 30 minutes! :D She loves it and the KNIT elastic was much better than the old random elastic I had used last attempt. Definitely get the knit, no-fold stuff! Thanks, Dana!

I made these a few years ago for my granddaughter & she loved them. I made dresses last yr for Project Dress a Girl & will do the same for this September, I picked up several little tops at the charity shop & think I could attached them to the skirt to make a dress which could work well.
