Hello Alessia, I am Amr from Egypt
In this video, you said don’t play the London system and it’s my main opining with white pieces. May I ask why should not play this opening ?

great vid! at 7:29, wouldnt rook a3 be a good move, pinning the bishop to the king, and then picking it up on the next move?

2:08 I'm usually playing against bots, and such blunder by a 1500-1800 bot is unthinkable. Maybe i should start playing against people more.

I am trying to reach 1600!!! 😆It is so stressful to play a high rated player!!! I am always thinking: "I cannot beat this guy." And I am almost always right.

Just change it to "I cannot beat this guy YET"

@@Barrosvbp I feel the same all the time, Valmidenio. But just remember: you're not playing agianst that guy, but against his pieces. So don't let a high Elo scare you. He has exactly the same 16 pieces that you have (and maybe he's not as motivated as you are, so go get'em, tiger!

That's me too many times. Funny thing is I even beat 2000 rated players, even a 2200 once when I was lower rated. But now I keep losing even to opponents in the same bracket. The difference? My MENTALITY back then was fearless. Now I'm like a coward. Playing good and THINKING good are highly connected

Common it's not that London system sucks.. Its just that you're a better player. You Gould have crushed your opponent even if he played any opening say like the rut lupez etc

I picked Pooh Bear, but honestly I don’t have any idea what he has to do with getting to 1800???
I think Alessia was just piggybacking on Winnie’s fame. Personally I would’ve picked Tigger over Pooh.
