Right?! When I first started, I could only do 5 mins at a time. I'd have to stop for like an hour and then do another 5 minutes, lol. I did this for a while until I worked up to 15 minutes with 5 minutes intervals and then 30 mins in one go, then an hour of various workouts.
But research shows that you will have muscle fatigue; if you don't take a break day from your workout routine, especially when you first start, it actually hurts your body and exercise routine. You didn't gain all your weight in a day and you can't lose it in a day. So we have to make our routine work for us so that it becomes a lifestyle and not a punishment. It sounds like you really put it all into your workout and that's great!

To anyone planning on doing Chloe Tings workouts keep these in mind:
Chloe is a professional and has done probably hundreds of worse workouts therefore you shouldn't compare yourself to her strength form or speed. Starting out with her channel and not being able to catch up is normal especially if you aren't used to working out or have never worked out in the first place.
It's a process, a process of fighting yourself in your head or talking to yourself and pushing yourself even when you feel like you're gonna throw up or faint because of how difficult it is to do in that moment. Yes I say 'in that moment' because you WILL get stronger the more you go, your body will get used to the workouts if you keep the CONSISTENCY.
Tips when doing the workouts from someone who has been doing them and has never worked her body a single day in the past 3 years:
You absolutely MUST do her warm ups before your workout, I missed out on this on my day 1 and 2 and I was literally on edge the whole day and could barely move, Day 3 I did the warm-ups and ever since I have been and never experienced a day of soreness again.
If you were to work out after eating wait 2-3 hours so that your food has at least been digested, you don't want to interrupt the digestion process!
Rest days: I personally take my rest days on weekends so I can get used to it even when school starts in a few weeks.
DONT DEGRADE YOURSELFFFF!!! Looking into the mirror after a workout either boost's you down or up and for me, same sizt. I noticed I look better the next day before my first workout rather than after my work out.
If Chloe Ting doesn't work out or it's just not it for you there are plenty of other videos you can try or follow *you can comment if you want reccs* I personally do HIKARI's stretches(??) after I eat (2-3 hours after ofc) and these have all in all helped me in my 1 week journey so far. I'll try updating a week later!
I may not have the experience to be trusted to say all these but I think if I were to go back and tell myself a thing or two or more on my first day, I'd say all I stated above.
I'm srs when Chloe says "Take is easy", don't force yourself to not choose the easier option in her workout, thats why they're there babe, to cater to those who've just started off, when you get stronk and think you can do it then go ahead and try!

    • @elfxisyes9043
      @elfxisyes9043 Год назад +4

@@make-a-wish2224 In my experience it was just a bit slow, then again I was fairly new to the whole workout thing.
I'd say it wouldn't work for everyone because it may not be easy for them or its too time consuming and stuff. (You can try out other people's workout and come back to Chloe when you feel you can take it if you couldn't before lol)
Chloe Ting isin't the only professional that does those kinds of videos so it's best to scroll around and look at what seems to best cater to your strength and your timetable. She's also not the only trusted professional leading to what I said previously, just scroll around and take a glimpse of the workouts and if you think you could do it then jump into it (also important to possibly look into the comments for results if you find any that are english cuz sometimes its filled with a foreign languages 🥲)
If you really wanna give it a shot with Chloe Ting make sure to keep consistency and maybe take a day or 2 off. And if you can, refer to her meal plans too to help out with kinda speeding up the whole process!

I tried the Chloe Ting challenge at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 and it was so hard. I just watched your video how you lost weight from 68kg to 58kg which got me interested in your other videos too (subscribed to your channel, you are so lovely!) I started the Chloe Ting challenge a few weeks ago, now I’m just redoing the two weeks workout (currently at week 5 of working out regularly). As Chloe Ting says “your abs will love you and hate you at the same time”, I sure feel better after every workout though. Although I don’t see major changes in my physical appearance, I’m in a much better mental space once I’ve finished a workout, even when I still have to slug through them sometimes. Thanks for sharing your journey and thoughts! Keeps me motivated!

one of my favourite things about her workout is she doesn't take the "FIGHT THROUGH THE PAIN AND JUST WORK HARDER!!!" approach that was so common in weight training workout videos not too long ago. Instead she encourages you to take extra breaks, gives modifications for tough workouts, and to go slowly at your own pace. I will say some of her challenges are more beginner friendly than others. Some are just way to hard for me to even attempt when I'm not already somewhat in shape.

I’ve been doing Chloe ting workouts plus some other routines on and off for 3 years now. The hardest part is powering through the first few days. A lot of people who never worked out before find it difficult to finish one video workout. This is a terrible disincentive. It’s helpful to pace yourself, don’t force yourself to exercise until you want to vomit. Take your time and really feel the muscles burn. If you really can’t finish the routine, you can try again tomorrow. Just try your best. Gradually, you’ll be able to do longer and more intense sets.
As for diet, you don’t need to jump to salads and chicken breasts etc. Start by cutting out unhealthy snacks likes chips, sweets, sodas. Switch them out for healthier options. It doesn’t have to be healthy food, it can be low calorie jellies, sugarless soda. Drinking more water helps with cravings. For meals, just don’t eat high calorie food like fast food or certain dishes like carbonara etc. There are a lot of moderately healthy options that taste amazing. Eating moderately and drinking water while you eat also helps.
Finally, have realistic goals. You’re not going to get absolutely shredded or lose 20kg in only 2 weeks. It’s a gradual physical change. Focus on feeling healthy instead of looking different. Eventually, you’ll see the physical changes. It is a VERY slow process. Give it time, it’s worth it.

as someone who gave up on the first day of her 2 weeks challenge, i really recommend to start with Chloe's longer workouts plans. it's still difficult af however it is possible to go through if you have zero fitnes skill (like me).
2 weeks challenge is great if you used to workout in the past but if not - there are a chance that u won't be able to move next day at all (hi it was me).
i know its sucks to choose a longer path but at least u will be able to do something (and after week 1 you'll start kinda enjoy it even if u hate sports. trust me, i never been so surpised in my life)

A couple of days later I was able to complete the second workout, and then the third. If you need some breaks it is okay to take them, it doesn´t have to be a 2 week challenge, it can be a 3 week challenge. Life happens and sometimes we are really busy, the important thing is to keep going.

Roadwork if you want to be outside, shadow boxing if you want to do it at home. Remember that exercising also has to be fun so if you don't enjoy those you can always try other things like going outside and playing with your pet if you have one. I used to be an amateur chess player in my age group and one of the most tiring things I did was burning off a lot of calories during tournaments because of how much stress it put on my brain thinking through all of the different moves.

One tip when doing pushups make sure your elbows are around 45 degrees from your body, don't do a t-shaped position (your elbows pointed outwards) as this may cause injuries. Also, don't dive in your head first C:
