I'm presently just a watcher watching and emailing all these videos to myself and moving them into my knitting tutorials folder. I have the needles, stitch markers and holders. I just haven't started to try practicing what I'm watching until I finish this crochet baby blanket. 😍 I think these videos will help me be successful

I'm not saying you're wrong but I have never seen that done your way before. Its very counterintuitive.

I've knitted some since I was a kid. My ma was a knitter too. Just out of curiosity I checked out another channel and this woman did exactly what Mikey did. She said it is a one stitch, left decrease on the wrong side of the work. I just goggled slip, slip Purl and it brought her to her channel.

When you ssp I understand that part. my question is how do you do the next row? No one shows the next row.

Interesting! Sl, sl, Purl is not a common stitch. Thank you for the demonstration.
    Love your fat purple needles!

I thought s s p meant slipping two stitches then a purl. Have I been doing this wrong?

That's actually similar but not the same

This is a way of decreasing your stitches. If you slip two stitches, Annie, then a purl it doesn’t sound like you are decreasing….

Me too 🤣 maybe it's another one of those stitches when different countries have different terms 🤔
