Thank you for making this in an uncomplicated way! Now, to pick out my fabrics! Also appreciate that you shared sewing that extra line of stitching to create the secondary HST for another project. I've done that before and wish more tutorials would teach that technique.
Dear Tess & Paulette, I have to say, I love all of your videos, but I especially love your calm, soothing, confidence giving voices. You both make everything seem so easy and after a while. It is....Ta -da❤ Thank you.Thank you.Thank you so very much❣️👍
Thank you so much for responding to my question about the pdf. When I saw the reply, I clicked the link again and was allowed access to download. I am eager to make a quilt from this block pattern. I enjoy your channel and tell my quilting friends about the channel.
I like to take a few minutes to see a 2nd line 0.5" away from the stitching line when making stitch & flip corners for later use or to use in borders or on the quilt back. Thanks for the free PDF and the tips!
I really love this design! Had to watch it a few times to be sure that I sewed it up properly. It's a really easy quilt block and will be making a queen size quilt....borders of black and purple and purple backing. I have everything and this will be a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. I'm so pleased that I accidently found your site. Subscribed for sure! Thanks and I can't wait to see the next block.
Appreciate all your videos but wonder if you can show the blocks you demonstrate arranged or sewn in a quilt, to have an idea of how the whole quilt will look like. Thank you for your great work 🙏
I just downloaded the pattern and there are two examples in it to see how it looks. Click on "...more" in the comments to see to download pattern. Thanks for the pattern. It's really pretty. I liked and subscribed!
It might be interesting to see the quilt with small sashing! I really like this block and it’s different!!! Gave me a little chill when I just saw the whole block but the way it’s cut and pieced makes it very easy, or easier😄
We do have this interlocking block video: ruclips.net/video/bFxzMprS6Es/видео.html Also there’s a new interlocking runner pattern we are working on, it’s not finished yet, but watch for it coming soon, I think you’ll like it! 😊🌷
@@TulipSquare wow that's great ..cuz wanted a 70x11 table runner and 6 place mats with any pattern i chose. Gave up on interlocking squares as the squares would be too small for the placemats and the breadth of the mat..will go through the pattern u shared and will make one..how do I use this for a placemat. Just reduce the size of the interlocked squares?
That depends on what size quilt! If you figure out how many 12" blocks you need, multiply by that, and then the easiest way is to use the phone app by Robert Kaufman fabrics. I believe it's called Quilting Calculator and is super handy for figuring out yardage for anything! Hope that helps! 😊🌷
Bel lavoro!!! Puoi aiutarmi e darmi le esatte misure in cm, dei singoli quadrati o rettangoli necessari per realizzare il lavoro??? Te ne sarei molto grata.
It's a good thing there is close caption as you talk so softly it's hard to understand what you're saying. Interesting pattern, like the why it looks.,
Thank you. My voice is soft and doesn't project well, so I've been trying several different microphones. I just got another new one to try, that I think works well for me. Hopefully future videos will have improved audio. 😊🌷
It's such a beautiful and easy block! But it's hard to imagine a three-dimensional effect seeing only one block. I would have loved to see more blocks together, a small wall hanging or at least 4 blocks together 5:45 , so the effect becomes visible. 😢
I, too, encountered the same problem of “expired key”, both when I clicked on the link in the video description, and when I tried to use the link given in reply to @mathgeek7966. Any ideas about what to do next?
I’m so sorry, I have no idea what that even means. I will contact support with our web server host and see if they can tell me about this “key”. Mom and I do the best we can but some of the tech is a little beyond us! 😬
I love you went straight to the tutorial without unnecessary talking. tku
Thanks so much! Glad you liked it! 😊🌷
I like the hint of creating the small HST insteaf of wasting the fabric!
I do this all the time! I have a drawer full of colorful HSTs that I use for little projects! 😊🌷
Beautiful block love the colors, thanks for sharing
Thanks so much! Glad you liked it! 😊🌷
What an unusual block! I love the designs it makes in a quilt. Thank you!

Thank you! So glad you liked it. We don’t like wasting fabric so always like to use the corners for something! 😊🌷
Wow…what a quick, easy pattern, yet still pretty!❤ It looks 3D with the border & sashing!
Thank you! It was a fun one to design! 😊🌷
I love the fabric and the block. Thank you❤
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it! 😊🌷

I would love to see how this goes together in a quilt.😊
We don't have time to make a full quilt for each block, but we do show examples in the pdf! 😊🌷
❤ thank you for all your wonderful easy blocks
You are so welcome! Glad you like them! 😊🌷
Wonderful block! I have to get quilting again to keep up! 😊❤
Thank you! Definitely do! 😊🌷
Love this block. Thank you for sharing.

That will be beautiful repeated in a big quilt! Great tutorial! Thank you
I think so too! If only I had time to make it! 😄 Thank you! 😊🌷
Oh wow. Love this quilt block and colors. Thank you for the pattern.

So odd, I finally got the error myself, but I clicked DOWNLOAD anyway and it was fine....still trying to work that out! Thanks so much!! 😊🌷

It’s always a great idea to do this (sew the second diagonal line and cut off the smaller HST - but I just forget🥴🥴
You can easily mark the 2nd line when you mark the first one. I love this method!
I’ll be making another video showing this, as well as some ideas for what to do with all those saved pieces. Watch for it soon! 😊🌷
@@TulipSquare - You’re the BEST!💕🧵
Is there a link to what size each piece is? I love this block!
A very nice block and you explained how to construct it very well. Thank you!
Thank you! Glad it was helpful! 😊🌷

Yes, it does look very hard. But it is for beginners. Thank you.
You can do it! 😊🌷

Oh! Thank you. Obviously I did not read the long description to realize it’s a pdf available.
Thank you for replying 🙏
Sorry, we try to always mention that in the video, and it’s usually quite near the beginning of the description. 👍
That is an amazing block! I have never seen this one!
Thank you! I wasn’t sure if this one had ever been done before, but we’ve never seen it! 😊🌷
That looks like a fun block!
Thank you! It is, we’re turning it into a throw quilt pattern 😊🌷
Beautiful block! Thank you! ❤

I love this!
Thanks! 😊🌷
Lovely!! I always look forward to your tutorials!🌸
Thank you so much! We appreciate you! 😊🌷

It would be nice to see the block in a finished quilt
I agree! For those of us spatially challenged, it would be cool to see how the illusion works in the whole quilt.
I just downloaded the pattern and there are two examples in it to see how it looks.

Hola.. gracias por sus proyectos... Puede colocar las medidas de los patrones? ... Todos no sabemos inglés .. gracias 💓
Hi, the measurements are all in the pdf, you could download it and run it through google translate as a document. I hope that helps! 😊🌷
I'd really like to see what a bunch of connected blocks look like!😮
Check the pdf download, we show a few examples! 😊🌷

I’d like to see this square with others like it in a quilt.

Olá Eu amei esse bloco, muito lindo, me inscrevi no canal para não perder nada.👏👏👏👏😘😘❤❤

I also sew a second seam to make a bonus square.
I love my bin full of bonus squares! 😊🌷

Do you have a picture of the completed quilt?
If you check out the pdf download, we show a few examples of how it could look. 😊🌷
Why do you not give the dimensions of the pieces you are using to create the block? The finished block is really pretty.
The dimensions are in the free pdf. The download link is in the description. 😊🌷
Is there yardage information for a whole quilt? I am trying to figure out how much yardage I would need and that is not my strong suit!

Come posso fare per scaricare il modello per realizzare il tuo lavoro????

Just tried to download the pattern and it says that the key has expired.
Me too but try again, I got it the second time.
I’m sorry, I’m not even sure what that means, there is no key 🤔 Technology can be so baffling sometimes!
I had that as well. Then I tried to print it out and it won’t

Sorry, we only have it in inches, link is after your other comment. 😊🌷
Ok. Va bene anche avere le misure in pollici, di tutti i singoli pezzi ed anche il relativo numero per preparare il quadrato completo.
Grazie!!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
