Getting a Grip on Restoring State’s Salmon Habitat

Gripping. Hoisting. Pulling. Anchoring. The start of the Salmon Restoration Project season-we just call it SRP-is one full of firsts for our #CCCFortuna Corpsmembers. Most on the crew haven’t worked in the creeks of Humboldt County before, and so they’re learning on the job. It’s a project assignment some of them have been waiting months to start. That’s how important the work is to them; the work of helping restore the fish habitat for our threatened and endangered salmon populations. #CaliforniaConservationCorps #CCChabitat
