Thanks! My son ordered adapters after he bought a set of wheels and tires from a 2005 f150. He has a 2002 f150 I have spent years and thousands of dollars customizing and taking care of. It’s a beautiful and simple step side. I asked if he was sure the new wheels would fit (knowing the 18” rim size would not fit on the current 16”) and he was “sure” they would- i then explained that most parts are interchangeable for 1997-2003 but not before or after… well low and behold he got home (after forgetting to bring the full sized spare on the 3 hour trip) to realize they would not fit and finding adapters has been a nightmare. He ordered a set that is the wrong size and now will cost around $50 to ship back so I’ll be in charge of the next order- however finding a set is very difficult for this truck… he originally wanted to sel after I taught him how to change out belts, tires, battery, fuel pump, fuel filter, alternator, exhaust, etc. Good video, to the point and clear. DAMN!! I wish I could've seen this video BEFORE I spent/wasted over $300 on stock dual wheel adapters!! It's been taking me DAYS to install my aftermarket wheels bcuz of all of the issues I'm running into such as not having the right size of lug nuts AND hack sawing my stock bolts down. Now my aftermarket wheels stick out WAY TOO FAR! Frickenay! (went from 5x114.3 to 6x127)

The Colorado is 6x5 and 1/2 and the Trailblazer is 6x5. Do they make adapters for that because I have had a lot of trouble finding them? Thank you very much.

Why does nobody make a hub-centric wheel-centric (with lip) for my 98' 4x4 dodge ram 1500 5.9 magnum..ps diameter of center hub is 77.7 so bore will need to be 77.8 and bolt pattern is 5x5.5 bolt thread and size id the only thing holding me back from purchasing the 04-09 dodge ram 1500 spacers which are 5x5.5 with a center bore of 77.8 but the studs are 9/16 instead of the 1/2 and thread count is different.
I recently purchased 4 hub centric adapters from some site recommended by a rim shop and got totally screwed they weren't made corectly I had to shave the back wheel adapter hubs to get the back ones to fit and the front ones i have to buy again smh

I need wheel hub adapters having 4 bolts made for a garden tractor's front rims having a 3 bolt pattern, anybody know which riding mower has the front rim 3 bolt pattern like maybe a Case mower, a small IH, maybe a John Deere? seeing as how the 2 riding lawnmower front rims was in great shape with almost new tires having deep treads good enough snow for $10.00 O.o, i bought them for use on a offroad Go-Cart or modify 2 hub spindles to fit to a mini bike, 1 spindle hub for front with drum or dick brake, one spindle hub having a rear sprocket combination having a true drum brake like the 70s motorcycles instead of the flimsy common band brake on go-cart rim combinations
if your wheels are 5 x 114.3 they should be close enough to work on that car without adapters, but if you want adapters we have them available, if they do not slip straight on the car double check the bolt pattern of the wheel.
Vehicle 5x127.5 to 6x139.7 wheels. Are these available without the black screws to hold together. Can they be made in a one piece instead of two? Shouldn't that make a stronger adapter?
@@shawncordeiro1150 I bought my Duramax with the wheel spacers on them already. The guy that had the truck before me got the wrong wheels so got the spacers to make them work. I reached out to the company that made my spacers (Set Group USA) and they say that with my aftermarket wheels I won't have any issues or restrictions. However, they also said if I was using stock Ford wheels to put on my Chevy with these spacers that I would not be fine. They said I would be fine with my aftermarket BMF wheels but I'm still kinda skeptical. I've searched all over and nobody really seems to talk about towing with wheel adapters.

What exactly does tire kingdom say? I have been researching the shit out of this whole subject and 90 percent of what I've found is negative on wheel adaptation. About 1 video to every five is favorable to using these things. On all forums the general consensus is the same. Bummer for me because I've already purchased some but i will not be risking it.

5x135 to 6x135 but if it is a factory wheel you may need the adapter to be wheel centric and you would need the factory lug nuts to match the wheel

You shouldn't need adapters, both the tt and A5 are 5x112
