I love the Union Rim content! You know they’re legit by sharing an insiders look at their shop and processes. They do better-than-OEM quality work. It’s factory quality, not two guys in a garage quality lol. Thank you again Sonduren for sharing 🙏🏽
The first time I went there was a couple of yrs ago after seeing one of your videos. I went back some time later w another set of rims and said, “I want these satin bronze” and didn’t say too much else lol they know what they’re doing so well that you don’t need to say much and they’ll give you more than you expected 👏
I know about hub centric adapters, but I'm trying to avoid them because I don't want the wheels that I'm interested in to stick out any more than I think they will. I have 5x112 on the Benz, the wheels are 5x130 G-Wagon wheels. I've seen that the hub assembly can be re-drilled. Is that advisable, or should I stick with the adapters? Or is it possible to dual-drill those wheels with a 5x112 pattern? Thanks.
How about going from 5 to 4 lug? I have a set of original Borbet type A’s that this was done 30 years ago from 5 x120 to 4x108. Picked up a replacement wheel (same config) and all of a sudden people are scared to even attempt this now. Why?
Im literally trying to do this right now. Have 5x112, need 5x120 for a BMW. Where did you get the inserts? Or do you remember the specs by chance ?? Thanks in advance
@@lalaman68 Yeah, metal shavings are not rough or anything lol Put some metal shavings on the hood of your car and wipe them off like this dude is doing and them tell me it looks "unscathed"... 😂
@@xtype2006 so where are the scratches then in the end of the video? You're dodging the question lol the rim looks perfectly fine. I know people that have done this job at his shop and never seen complaints. So I'll take their word over yours lol. And even in your example, wiping it off with your hands would be perfectly fine 😂😂 Car paint is not that weak where metal shavings will chip off the paint
Straight love it 💯...but I live in South Carolina 😢... Anyways my car is 5x120.65 center bore 73.8....The aftermarket wheels are 5x120 center bore 74.10....some people say it'll work. What's your/yall opinion?

This was amazing.
I knew you would enjoy all the drilling in this video 😄
Hey, where are you all located, sir
That was satisfying to watch
Do you measure the wall thickness, closest to the hub?
Is it possible to do a 6 lug rim in to a 8 lug???

I'm experiencing the same problem. Nobody wants to do it. Probably for liability reasons?

Bros putting Supra stocks on his Beamer
I have a 4×100 but want to put wheels that ate 4x114.3mm
Where can I get this done at?
Union Rim Toronto
WHERE ARE YOU GUYS FROM
Toronto Ontario!
RIP to the face of that wheel. Wheel shavings like that should never be allowed to touch the face of the wheel.
Location please
Lol the face of the rim looks unscathed by the end what are you on about? Pretty sure the professional knows what he's doing
