It seems to me that it is the duty of every novice artist to repeat the style or a particular painting of Van Gogh at least once (and preferably ten) times. For me personally, this is a whole Art Therapy - to watch the mixing of thick oil paints, to watch how the brush runs across the canvas leaving unique strokes. #OilPainting is beautiful and sensual. Therefore, if you are an art fan, be sure to watch this video to understand how to paint like Van Gogh. In this video, I took as a basis one of his famous works, namely a landscape with haystacks, and simplified it so that it would be easier and more understandable for a beginner to get comfortable. Of course, you can go further - add your own elements, work more with details. An artist is a person who understands the essence of self-improvement. By the way, this is also a form of Art Therapy - to learn new things and develop your abilities. Personally, it calms me down a lot. I hope I have chosen good music for this video, because it is important not only how to paint landscape like Van Gogh, but also to create the right environment while learning oil painting. By the way, during the editing at the moment of oil painting haystacks, I tried to apply one director's technique and it seems to me that it turned out not clear. Oil paints that are typed on a brush are not applied to the canvas all together, but in turn. Clarity is an important feature of #OilPaintingTutorial, as well as clarity and brevity, especially if it is painting for beginners.

Hey, you can use both in this technique, but I prefer oil because thay keep tone and structure after drying. If you use acrylic paints just try to make the painting lighter then it has to be. Hope it is useful :)

It depends on the temperature in the room. Half an hour. You can also dry it with a hair dryer.

Beautiful video, but the pop ups & that irritating ding noise ruins it. I don’t think it will get you any subs. In fact, I kinda wanna UNsub now if this is the norm.
