Yes, unfortunately watercolor brushes are too soft for impasto and texture painting and are not suitable for oils. The only exception is if you strongly dissolve oil paints in the medium and paint with them like watercolors. In general, yes, you need bristle brushes for oils.

You need to not only create your own kit, but also understand why it is like that. If you can speak with your real voice I think it would be more enjoyable to watch and listen to. The AI voice takes away from the experience of the video and art, it takes away the human aspect. If you are mute though then I totally understand why you use AI voice.

What did you use to dissolve brown paint?
Odorless artistic solvent, like Gamsol.
Can these techniques be replicated with acrylic paint?
It won't be the same, but it will still be interesting. And skip the step with the first overall layer or make it veeeeeeery light.
