The 70s was a dark era for most performance vehicles especially in USA. Manufacturers were still undeveloped with emission equipment and they sapped HP like mad. In hindsight we should be thankful today while being able to have cars like the GT350R with 520hp, 8000rpm red line and still be emission compliant. Well, until the EPA, Californian politicians & Feds put everyone into an electric car that is.

Yeah no kidding the one that could be changed into 580 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque for a measly $1,500. Although I have to say there were several other required improvements in order to deal with that which I had done already and then thoroughly enjoyed an absolute gorilla out there on the roads. I'm so lucky to have ridden that wave there were so many unsuspecting cars and I kicked their asses.
There were also a lot more than 600 of them and I don't know where you got that information.

Demon and the shelby GT500 are two different cars built for two different purposes. The shelby GT500 is a all around good on both the drag strip and track and the demon is only built for the drag strip. Also, the shelby GT500 is already doing 10.6s in the quarter mile with stock factory street tires at 133mph. Yes, it doesn't have drag radicals. I rather have a all rounder good at everything.

This is a great video but there's a lot more you could've added. Like when they changed the sn95 from 5.0 to 4.6. And the sn95 cobra R. Also the terminators weren't there. And a bunch of other things as well but still great video

Grizzly Garage I was thinking the exact same thing with the sn-95 and the termi like those a pivotal moment in the evolution of the mustang What about the 1983 gt the first year they switched the 4 barrel carb onto the 302 for the Foxbody that changed it so much so much evolution happend between 79-93 and when it was switched over to efi was included but like why skip over key things such as this and skip the 93 cobra but include the 2000 the 93 was the first year that SVT had their name on a cobra

Here are the prices listed by vehicle, adjusted for inflation: Used the numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics inflation chart at www.bls.gov/data/ . First the list price provided in the video in dollars (I used January of that year each time for simplicity) and then the adjusted price in September 2017 dollars.
    1964 Coupe $2,320 = $18,531
    1965 Fastback $2,533 = $20,008
    1965 GT 350 $4,311 = $34103
    1967 GT500 $4,195 = $32,559
    1969 Boss 429 $4,925 = $34,145
    1969 Mach 1 $3,122 = $21,645
    1970 Boss 429 $4,928 = $32,177
    1971 Boss 351 $4,124 = $25,574
    1974 Ghia $3,480 = $18,431
    1978 King Cobra $5,638 = $22,265
    1979 Coupe $4,494 = $16,420
    1984 SVO $14,931 = $36,165
    1987 GT $12106 = $26,870
    1994 GT $17,280 = $29,172
    2000 Cobra R $54,995 = $80,413
    2005 GT $21945 = $28,402
    2007 Shelby GT500 $40,930 = $49,908
    2010 GT $31,845 = $36,273
    2012 Boss 302 $40,145 = $43,714
    2013 GT500 $54,995 = $58,944

Nope i disliked the 2015 at first because i own a 2006 and im looking to upgrade to a 2013-2014 gt but recently i started liking the 15 and when the 18 came out i was stunned i absolutely love it but sadly 40k isnt anywhere near my budget

I am definitely not a fan, but I can also see why you would like it. To me, it just doesn’t look aggressive enough, and not at all how a real mustang should look.

Everyone always jumps over the 1986 Mustang GT first year of multiport fuel injection, 8.8 rear end and the third break light.
Also last year of the 4 eyed head lights, and the most sought after fox body.

Me too, I also like the exteriors, because it is what really makes the mustang unique from every other muscle car... Until they changed it and made it more modern looking.
