"Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face, And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, In the light of His glory and grace." Beautiful, beautiful version of this lovely hymn. Thanks. And what a great sounding organ!
Vielen Dank.
That's the most beautiful sounding organ I've ever heard and I've played a lot of different ones. I want one. Blows my two rank clough and Warren away! I play all those songs as well. Great playing friend!
"Golden Oldie" time again. Many memories, especially with the chorus of that hymn, which was published seperately in some "Chorus books" over here. Sounds good.
What an incredible sound. Absolutely NOTING else like it in the entire world. You have mastered this instrument my friend. Bravo! I inherited a Reed organ a few years ago. It is in wonderful condition inside and out. I treasure it a great deal. It has a place of honour in my living room. I play it by ear and enjoy doing so a great deal. I stumbled upon your site yesterday and am so happy I did.I will be spending time everyday listening to this amazing sound. God Bless you as you share your God given talent with others. Normand
Hello Normand, sorry I missed seeing your comment 2 months ago :) Thank you so much for your kindness and encouragement. Playing hymns is something I enjoy sharing, I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Good evening Rodney. Not to worry about the timing. Do you have a CD? If not, you really should consider recording one. I will purchase the first copy :) God Bless!
I agree with Craig... I still have not heard any reed organ that comes close to that Berlin. It's as sweet as a nut. Beautiful interpretation of this lovely old hymn. Thanks Rodney!
O soul, are you weary and troubled? No light in the darkness you see? There’s light for a look at the Savior, And life more abundant and free! Refrain: Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face, And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, In the light of His glory and grace. Through death into life everlasting He passed, and we follow Him there; O’er us sin no more hath dominion- For more than conqu’rors we are! His Word shall not fail you-He promised; Believe Him, and all will be well: Then go to a world that is dying, His perfect salvation to tell!
Gorgeous Rodney and that Berlin must be one of the most magnificent Reed Organs ever made. How I love the richness of its tone. And of course your playing. Superb as always! :-) Craig
Beautiful playing. Beautiful organ. If I could see the organist's face, I'd say he was beautiful too. On the other hand, maybe It's just as well. (just kidding folks).

You rarely hear these old hymns in the modern services but I think they stand the test of time. Well done Rodney.
Beautiful, as is always the case of you and the Berlin. Another one of my favorites. - Larry

.. and, knowing your mother, I'll take her word.
Amen!
