Ballad of the Grizzly A Folk Song by Stan Zuray

- Wrote this song long ago after being pulled out of a tree by a grizzly bear but stopped playing guitar soon after as I got my fingers messed up by a boat starter motor. Anyway use to play lots but it's been 20 plus years since I did and thought I would try to figure a way to play this song at least. Only got two fingers on the left hand to use. If I get better I'll make an improved version but for now "it's better than nothing". Or maybe not!!! Stan

Love it, all the best Stan, miss seeing you on the TV. I hope you Joey and the rest of your family are doing well.
Hey Stan, just to let you know. You and Joey were the reason for me to watch Yukon Man. I loved hearing you tell the story of your life. When I found your channel here it made my day. I find it very interesting the lifestyle you live. Very few Men could live that lifestyle, we don’t have the Stones to get it done. I admire everything you’ve accomplished in your life. You could run circles around a normal man your age. Thank you for sharing your story here on RUclips. I like it better than watching the show on tv. Yours is not scripted! It’s Real Life!
Thank you Sir!
Glad to see you trying to figure out a way to play again. Playing the guitar is good for the soul. Thanks for sharing.
Everything you do is very good because it comes from heart

Tony Iomi was the lead guitar player for Black Sabbath. He lost his fingers in an industrial accident. Where theres a will, theres a way. Good on ya. Ive played my whole life almost. Keep it up Stan. I enjoy your content. Cheers from Muskoka Ontario.

This could be a hit. Nicely done, Stan. How about, "The Wood-cutting Blues" for your next ballad?
Wow‼️ thank God you’re still here. Close call. I didn’t know you were a guitarist!! Good playing and good lyrics. Enjoy everything you put on RUclips.
Not yet convinced it is anything but slightly catchy but actually terrible. But as a friend once said , " a phrase that could be used to describe absolutely everything in Stan’s life was: better than nothing".
Stan Zuray is a gift to the world. He stays true to who God created him to be. I have a lot of admiration for him an his family.
It’s pretty bluesy Stan. I dig it man!

Linda canção, abraço aqui de chapeco SC Brasil Stan....
Hi Stan. I would love to hear that story. There are many "Story Time" videos and I think that would be a great story to tell on RUclips. I just found your channel today and subscribed. You and your son Joe are my favorite people on Yukon Men. I heard you are getting your own show. Can't wait to see it.
It is being worked on right now at my fish camp but will take awhile as it is very low budget but high quality. Just our day to day life as it really happens. We'll be letting everyone know when it's going to be released for sure. The object will be to make it accessible to the most people we can.
@@stanzuray --- Cool. Good luck with the show. I'll be waiting for the announcement and will be watching for sure.
My ears are bleeding lol. Keep hammering on er.
I cringe watching it also but for the first time in many years I am enjoying playing a bit.
Wow 😮 never heard of that. I would love to hear the whole story. God bless and take care. Love a song that tells a story. - great job!!
If you're interested it's easy to get: www.amazon.com/dp/1521098891
My hands are the end result of using them as a tool, but my hands have no serious issues yet! Still I suck moose crap at playing the guitar and even though Music Class was mandatory in my early education ... I must have slept.
Thanks for that, Stan! Have you ever showed the scar on social media?
Less than 10 seconds after typing that, you showed it at the 4 minute mark.
Great job brother! Can you please sing it for us with just the words and possibly another one with the guitar a little quiter. Really good song just hard for me to make out all the words, lol someone's getting old and deaf over here. Thanks Brother ttyl
I am going to do another and will remember these comments. The camera was closer to the guitar than me and that was some of the problem. Thanks
It's a nice Song Stan. I have one question: how old are you. But it's my drem to came to Tanana.
