I remember in the TV sitcom, Seinfeld, that whenever they showed the front of the apartment building where Jerry lived, there was a Yellow CRX Si parked in front of the building.
Just came across this channel and the first thing I saw was the representation of the Barbados yellow, made me click instantly since I am a Barbadian. Thank you for using this colour on your car and giving my island the props. Much respect bredren!
Absolutely love what you do on this channel! I have been driving Honda/Acura vehicles since 1991 and I have loved every vehicle...thank for this inspiring and amazing content.
This thing is going to be so amazing. I wish I could pay for this treatment for my ITR. I know how much work this is, and showing the entire paint job in one video really doesn't represent what it takes to get to that final finish. Ready for the next video on this!
Was auch noch wichtig wäre zu erwähnen, auch den gleichen Lackierer zu nehmen der das ganze Fahrzeug lackiert.Denn jeder Lackierer hat seine eigene Handschrift.Tolle Arbeit,Respekt!
I agree blocking everything should be part of the ffirst stages of every restoration. On mostly straight cars I adopted the technique of using an airfile. It’s not for every job or panel but using a higher grit helps 400 or 320 just to identify low areas.
I hope everyone involved with bodywork was wearing appropriate PPE....the original Honda Y49 paint from the late 80s and early 90s was and is RADIOACTIVE!!!! No joke, it was discontinued and banned in 1991
Cannot wait to see when you guys actually finish this CRX!!! So far you have done a Fantastic job. I loved my CRX actually had it for 10 years and sold it in pristine condition. But seriously guys 3 1/2 months since your last post on this car wtf??? We know you can do way better than that 😊❤
Crx looks great! You guys have to get a nice discount on that Sikkens paint. I see Brian is not mixing no Wanda line. 😂 I called my local jobber who carries it here and just the 5 liter of HS clear and hardener they quoted me at $1028. I almost fell out of my seat. Perks for sure working at a high production dealership.
I need to restore my 95 Civic coupe and would like to get your thoughts on removing the quarter window or not. Parts are no longer available for the window moldings.
Excelent work! Please what did you use for the moldings and the lower part of the bumpers? Is it just black matte paint or something special? I would like to keep the original look. Thanks

Jerry did that on purpose with cars he liked and the KLIEN bicycles
@@JNAMOTORSPORTS, oh yeah; true. As I know you’re well aware, he is a Porsche man.

The CRX is my intro to sport compact cars back in the 90's. This build brings back good time memories 👌👌
Classic, same here for us
Me too, can't wait to throw a WuTang CD in and pretend I'm in HS
This crx is coming out unbelievable. Its awesome
I bought this identical car brand new in 1988. It was my dream car. One I wished I kept.
Oh man I was waiting for this one. I’m talking checking in weekly
Brian from Paint Society is such a great addition to this channel. Car is looking great!
It’s amazing to think we considered them as two for a penny nothing cars back then!
Wooohooo Finally!!!!!! This was my favorite back to 89. It came out beeeetter than factory 💯 Brian you nailed as always 👌🏼
Looks beautifully! Makes me itch to get mine painted!
that's an incredible paint job. Pure old style artisanship, with the addition of current tech to enhance it, that moves into art.
un regal....magnifique travail de paint society qui par ailleurs je suis depuis longtemps...et encore merci AHC

I don’t think those paper spray overalls would keep out a lot of radiation! (Was it “sunburst yellow” ?) 😁
Phenomenal 💫 💫 💫
SEXY! FIRE!! You guys nailed it!
man, nice build coming along wish I can do that to mines too hard to find good oem parts now and days

The car has been painted for the last 3 and 1/2 months. Not every project is posted as soon as the task is completed. We gave many projects. ❤

That's a great question. To have a proper paint job, the glasses will need to be removed. Be sure to hire a good vender to carefully remove them.
Excelente modelo
Bro where is this place? My 91 Accord Wagon needs This Attention asap. Nice work.
Nice. I have a yellow ITR on my channel. But I can't find any CRX of any colour to add to my collection. Anyone have a clue HMU
Always spray the black trims, black!!! 😂😂

No updates on this car...? Its been 3 months!
Dam!
Should've left the black on the front bumper, also. Just like OEM. All 1 color going to look off vs the rear.
The front bumper was completed in black 2 tone after the editing of the video. Its a process so it takes some time.
@@PaintSociety Ohhhh, okay. Sweet!
NOOOOOOO! NEVER RESTORE Y49. Store it in a vault.
A lead lined vault...lol that paint is radioactive
