In this episode of this series, we are reassembling our 1989 Honda CRX Si after a full 2-stage minty fresh paint job in Y-49 Barbados Yellow with @PaintSociety . We will start from the exterior body panels, to the windshield and glasses, and finished up with the body trims and interiors.

Absolutely gorgeous… I wish cars were still this simple. Fun and cheap/easy to fix.

Crx is not cheap to fix
Broken climate control for ac-500-800
Fenders-200-300
Seats-500-1000
Dash normal age cracked 250
Door panels -500 if they are perfect
Other parts can be used from efs & sedans which is just cheaper
The CRX and NSX are my favorite Hondas ever
This was more a refresh, rather than a nut and bolt restoration. Still a great result.

Looks amazing! Just need to swap those front wheels side to side. They’re on the wrong side. CRX wheels had left and right versions. The rear wheels are on the correct sides.

i've owned two of these cars in my lifetime. I purchased one new in 89 for 8k it was the dx model. I bought one used in 2003 from a mechanic who rebuilt the engine. They're no nonsense cars that handle nicely and are quite peppy. saw one online a few years ago for 50k. The guy bought it new drove it home and mothballed it. It may have never been driven but 50k? I'm good.

Once again AHC Garage nailed it on another golden era restoration. The outcome is phenomenal. Bring a lot childhood memories seeing these 90’s car. Were the quarter glass and front windshield moldings new? If so, mind sharing where you got them? Thx
The parts were supplied by customer. Quarter glass moldings were OEM and believe you can still pick up on eBay. Front windshield looks to be aftermarket but quality was excellent. Thanks for tuning in as always.
